The NY Times has a new report about the CIA-led mission in Afghanistan, and (Surprise!) they are directly leading torturers, murderers, and drug lords.
Trump just made himself a better presidential candidate than most mainstream Democrats.
He did this by acknowledging our total and abject failure in Afghanistan, and that after 17 years nothing was going to change, so we should withdraw.
Seventeen years, going on eighteen, we've doubled down on the same failed strategy for the umpteenth time.
42% of Americans don't know, have forgotten, or just don't care, that our troops are still fighting and dying in Afghanistan, but it turns out that the Taliban still care.
Those darn Russians are aggressively threatening everyone.
