They sneaked river cleanup in, there's been so much static, chaos and bullshit in the airwaves that it has been drowned out. If it fits into schedules and such, consider pitching in.

But I digress. Whisky is a big part of our historical culture, there was even a whisky rebellion, though I hear that the youngest generation is eschewing booze and partying. Their loss, though they may have a point. Telecommunication is a big mainstay of today's culture, but you probably should avid indulging in it after an excessive indulgence in Whisky. Marshall McLuhan famously told us that The medium is the message, but what the hell is the medium? The Internet? WiFi? Text? Cat Pics? You Tubes? Blogs?

We here have a sub-cultural niche in that overall Telecommunication and Information Society, and, importantly, one that emphasizes freedom of speech/expression, but here's the rub. Telecommunication isn't free. All participants need hardware, software and connectivity. This is especially true of The site itself, which is undergoing upgrades and revisions as we speak. Accordingly (and therefore) it would be helpful, finances willing, if we fund this puppy. It is possible to have too much money, but like each of us, the site is not in that position. Hence (end ergo), if you have a bit to spare, consider punching that little yellow "Donate" button in the upper left corner of the page and heaving a little coin into the pot.
