A quote from that ancient tome epitomizes much we here on c99p complain about regarding American Capitalism:
NFL fans are turning off their TV's and not buying tickets.
Why? Because football players dared to take a knee during the national anthem.
Don't get me wrong. I don't oppose raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour. Nor do I oppose the idea of a Universal Basic Income.
Both ideas are better than what we have now, and I'll be happy if either or both are implemented.
However, there is a flaw with both ideas that I just can't overlook:
Neither of these proposals empower the workers.

In light of "NYC Board Of Elections Admits ILLEGAL Purge Of 200K Progressives (Jimmy Dore Show)" this would seem to be another barnburner in what should amount to a full scale wildfire exposing how deeply corrupt the Democratic Party is. I've been railing against rule by the rich for some time now. That is THE problem, that and our pathetic political systems that allow them to rule us. Everyone knows it, everyone has always known it, most everyone anyway. It's everywhere with this global capitalist greedfest occurring right in front of our broke little eyes.

You can't really blame people for wanting to take drugs to escape the dystopian reality created and maintained by the greedy bastards. Especially when there's literally no recourse for fighting back because you can't get the proles to agree on anything in this country.
