Monday, Monday: My Visit to an AME Church, BLM protestors arrested in my hometown & Who is Hillary Clinton?

Forgive me everyone for posting video today rather than writing a blog post. It's be been a y busy and exhausting weekend for me the work I'm doing for The People's Convention, now less than two weeks away. So, in lieu of an essay, here is my latest, "Monday, Monday: My visit to an AME Church, BLM arrests in my hometown & Who is Hillary Clinton."

Speaking of Authority Traps...

Just to add a bit to last night's essay on how difficult it is to change a system from within, I just saw this link to a 4Chan conversation with someone claiming to be with the FBI. Here is one that liepardestin posted on The Progressive Wing that is excellent as well. I posted it on Facebook and tweeted it (I hope).

Why We Lose.

This article is not about elections, politics, parties, economics, or the future, except that it is about all of these things and how they are not what most of us were taught that they are.

So I've been watching Big Think for a while now. I find it a nice break from the highly skewed, controlled product that TED has become and came across this:

Why I ain't ready to write Bernie off and why I feel you shouldn't either.

There are all kinds of reason Bernie has earned my admiration and respect, but leaving that aside for now I would like to say that while I think it is still incredibly unlikely, there is also still a chance.

Two weeks is a long time in election politics.
