How weak of a candidate is Joe Biden? Trump has been indicted four times, many of the crimes he is obviously guilty of, so he'll likely spend part of the campaign season behind bars. Yet, according to RCP, Biden is barely winning in the polls, and if history is any guide, that means Biden will lose in the electoral college.

This week we've got blues from Chicago blues harmonica player Junior Wells and an album from Luther Johnson (also know as Luther "Georgia Boy Snake" Johnson, not the other Luther Johnson that played with Muddy Waters as well, sometimes known as Luther "Guitar Jr." Johnson). Johnson is backed by Muddy Waters and his band. After that, there's an early Elvin Bishop Group album some Link Wray tunes and some early recordings of Duane and Greg Allman before they found their groove, though there are some hints of what was to come there. After that there's an album from Jo Jo Gunne which features their big hit "Run, Run, Run." Then there's some folk blues and general fun with Jim Kweskin and the Jug Band (featuring Maria Muldaur before she was Maria Muldaur) and for a bit of diversity, there's an album by a band formed by a previous member of the Fairport Convention, (Ian) Matthews Southern Comfort.

No, not a VW Beetle, a Figeater Beetle, which often show up at the Balboa Park rose garden in numbers around this time of year to feast on the decomposing or soon to be decomposing rose blossoms.
Went on a trip. Driving through Louisiana, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, to North Carolina.
We are driving down the road in Louisiana. (*Uh, sort of bull shit. Dear One drives, I sit and relax.) (It works for me.) I thought I saw some kid's toy for the beach, like a floating something for kids. Nope. An alligator on the shoulder of the road. Sorry to report it was dead. Dear One imagined what hitting that gator did to the vehicle. It was at least 10 ft., maybe more. A giant guy.
Seeing a gator by the side of the road is odd. Uh, Louisiana. Odd.
The upcoming election is a circus and there seems to be no alternative.
The MSM likes this as it is good for ratings and padding the bottom line and the majority of us are left behind.
Alternative choices are given the previous Bernie blacklist to maintain the status quo.
Cornel West is an alternative but he has more or less been shadow banned.
