Japan wanted the Yoon administration to recognize their imperial war flag, the ook il ki as a flag that would be welcomed in South Korea during naval exhibitions, and joint exercises. Apparently not even the slavish Yoon administration would go that far.

Japan wanted S. Korea to OK flying of ‘rising sun’ flag while resolving radar lock-on dispute

The concessions to Japan by the Yoon administration in Seoul on thorny historical issues are likely at the core of Tokyo’s latest demand that Seoul agree to the official use of a flag seen as a symbol of imperialist aggression in Korea

This is my summary of the initial Japanese patrol aircraft incident in Dec. 2018:

The Korean destroyer was answering a distress call from a small North Korean fishing vessel in heavy seas. They turned their fire control radar on to locate the small wooden fishing vessel, and as the Japanese aircraft entered the area, at some point the latter detected a threat warning indication from the STIR 180 fire control radar. The Korean Defense Ministry statement indicated that the fire control radar was being used to discern the exact position of the distressed vessel in very heavy seas. Japanese official statements claim the incident involved an irresponsible presentation of a threat to their P-1 aircraft. The ROK Defense Ministry denied that there was any threat to the aircraft. Channel A News analysts suggested that if relations with Japan were better, the incident would not have resulted in such a critical and elevated response from Japan.

Japanese maritime patrol aircraft began to harass South Korean naval vessels after that in the international waters of the East Sea.

SBS has been running video loops of what I consider to be war propaganda promoting US-South Korean military exercises in and over the West Sea inside the Northern Limit Line buffer zones established by the prior Moon administration in a military agreement negotiated with North Korea in Sept. 2018. Also, SBS reports South Korean artillery units are live firing into the prior buffer zone area. The joint US-ROK airforce included a section of B-1b "strategic bombers" operating in the West Sea, purported to be a "warning to China" This military action by the two allies accompanied the so called "trilateral meeting" of the three defense ministers of Japan, the US, and South Korea. A US statement, not sure who the official source is, warned China that they needed to check Kim Jong-un's provocative activity including missile launches prohibited by UN resolutions.

Rejection of the 9.19.2018 military agreement formally by the South Korean administration was blamed on North Korea almost universally in English language media. Yet anyone who has followed this issue knows that the US opposed the agreement negotiated by the prior Moon administration in South Korea since the day it was announced and lobbied and propagandized against it. The Yoon administration came to power saying it was opposed to the agreement and wouldn't stand by it. US NGO sponsored defector groups in South Korea triggered the balloon contest over the DMZ by violating the 9.19 agreement on at least two prior occasions, sending anti Kim propaganda into North Korea.

Imagery of the B1-b bombers in South Korea showed them in formation with F-22s and F-16s over the Kunsan AFB in South Korea and also over the coastal features of the West Sea. SBS seems to have become little more than a propaganda outlet for the Yoon administration after it purged the Korean Communications Commission.

No doubt relations between So. Korea, ROK, China and Japan need to simmer
down to ease tensions. Heard So. Korea is tearing up an agreement on the
DMZ to the north? Perhaps in retaliation of the poop balloons? Talk about a
shit show.
Do not know why these Asian nations can not just recognize a shared
geographic area and work with, instead of against each other. Now it
seems the Philippines (a US 'possession') wants to stir up more stew.

Ay yi yee.

@QMS Because it provided for removal of a substantial number of guard posts within the DMZ on both sides. The DMZ is two km wide on both sides of the military demarcation line agreed to in the 1953 Armistice. It was also the 9.19.2018 agreement that called for the removal of "heavy weapons" like heavier machine guns from around the Joint Security Area at Panmunjom. A Channel A broadcast said, back then, the North was said to have as many as 250 guardposts and the South as few as 50. The mutual withdrawal put the greater burden on the North to withdraw 2 kilometers on their side.

There were zones established on both sides of the DMZ North and South, restricting aircraft operations. Even military prop aircraft and helicopters were prohibited within 10 km either side. The zones for military jet aircraft were wider, from 20 to 40km depending on how far from the greater Seoul metro area.

There were extensive restrictions on military exercises north and south of Northern limit line the putative border between the North and South in the West Sea. All these restrictions have now formally been repudiated by both sides, raising the chances of a military confrontation, shooting incidents, etc. The North Koreans had already begun restoring their many guard posts at the DMZ they had abandoned in late 2018 incident to the agreement with the South.

The non-exercise/non firing zone in the West Sea depicted below shows that the restrictions affected more of the North's coastline where there are heavy artillery batteries, dug in, than the coast line of the South.

Oh, forecast for the Gulf is 8-17 hurricanes, 4-7 being big ones. If it ever stops raining, a company is scheduled to cut down several trees that are very close to the house.
Not much I can do about the trees at the office, other than to hope for the best.
I hope the tractor seat is comfy, friend!

What to know about Boeing's Starliner test flight

Boeing will try for a third time to launch two NASA astronauts to the International Space Station on the company's Starliner capsule.

Liftoff is scheduled for 10:52 a.m. ET from Florida’s Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
It will be the Starliner's first crewed flight — a crucial demonstration for Boeing. If successful, NASA could authorize the Starliner capsule to begin making regular trips to the space station.

Onboard will be NASA astronauts Barry “Butch” Wilmore and Sunita Williams.

I hope there are lawsuits on that. And hopefully the kids kicked out of college and denied graduation have a hella lawsuit. In a sane world they would have one against the gestapo cops.

One of the UCLA pro Zionist goons was finally arrested. He and others should have been charged with assault. And cops for dereliction of duty for allowing it to happen.

Disagreeing with the government narrative should have been open to debate not censorship. And the doctors who had their licenses removed were denied due process. Hopefully they too have grounds for lawsuits.

A few years ago I did a search on American Utopian communities of the 1800s and found the blog of John Michael Greer. Comes out, he is both an expert, prolific writer on the occult and a careful reader of history.

He got respect from me when he did not shy away from using the word "woo", and when he wrote a good article on insulating your house.

Here is what he wrote 5 June, 2024. The reality-based readers of caucus99percent may find it interesting.
