You may not believe Trump will be able to diminish our country’s institutions or damage our society. If so, I urge you to think again about the darkness that dwells in the hearts of so many and what happens when discontent is intentionally channeled through it.

We've been saying for a very long time now that Hillary's opposition to the TPP is largely bullshit. She urged her delegates to oppose anti-TPP language in the party platform. She picked pro-TPP Tim Kaine as her VP. And now longtime Clinton friend Terry McAuliffe may have accidentally let the truth slip out:

The so-called left wing French government is looking more and more like its neoliberal US counterpart, and the similarities are hardly complimentary. With the news of the horrendous terrorist truck attack in Nice still fresh in the media and in people’s minds, another story about France flew below the radar. On July 1st France broke its own record for the number of its citizens incarcerated, with almost 70,000 people in prison.
Donald Trump is not by any stretch of imagination a great orator, but grammatically, at least tonight he kept things together--and I don't give a damn whether he used a teleprompter or not. His speech clocked in at about 75 minutes, which one reporter said was the longest such speech in 40 years. It was not a dull speech, even if it was overlong.
Expect many will start hearing the name Tony Schwartz.

Let's review. The Cruz, RNC and Trumpeters all approved the speech ahead of time.
Then the Drumpfers Fired up delegations to slam the Cruzter.
Then, himself enters the hall before the Cruz is done.
Oh let's not forget entering Day 1 through the smoke like it's WWE.
As we all know, this election is likely to be painful for us progressives! Might as well make lemonade out of lemons, right?
