The Facebook group "Action Items for the Political Revolution" reposted this set of misunderstandings, published online by Business Insider, under the illusion that it was hip to do so. It wasn't.

It's hard to imagine just how completely the political leadership of the left-wing has failed us until they try to do something. For example, progressives in the Democratic Party are only now trying to create a comprehensive foreign policy stand.
I'm not a fan of Paul Krugman, but every once in a while he says something intelligent, and recently it's something that I've been investigating.
This 11th hour smear by the New York Democratic Party establishment is exactly what you would expect from the Cuomo campaign.

For the establishment media, socialism is an extremely flexible thing.
On one hand, socialism has failed and been discredited. It's followers have already abandoned it. Any poor soul who still gives it a second thought is an anachronism deserving of public humiliation.
Everyone, this is in response to Matthew Huber's "Five Principles of a Socialist Climate Politics." It's a good piece but it seems to be asking for a bit more.
It's become increasingly obvious that the right-wing has absolutely no clue what socialism actually is.
