First there was the essay accusing "us" of being enablers of racists. Then there was the essay telling "us" we must be either miserable, depressed, or lazy for voicing our un-cited belief in the various ways we will be electorally screwed again come 2020.
Can "we" not speak for everyone here in our essays anymore?

Hello C99'ers!
As a crew member at Trader Joe's, I have dozens and dozens of conversations about food each day that have inevitably made their way back here as I promote C99 via the Tuesday Open Threads.
C99 is a non-partisan site. That means that the site itself takes no official stance on any political party or candidate. Users are free to support any candidate or party across the political spectrum, from left to right. You are liable to see essays and comments here that also span that political arc. We are an open discussion board that takes pride in tolerance and a lack of censorship unless it is beyond the pale of civility. Beyond the pale of civility is a blanket term but I think we all would agree that there are some things that should be out of bounds and we would all recognize them as such if they were to pop up.
Happy Valentines Day folks. I've temporarily changed the thumbs up image with a picture of a rose. Since roses seem to be the new currency to curry political favor, perhaps if we give out enough of them then we too can get a spot on national TV as a talking head.
If you think I'm going to put up with this shit for another year and a half, you've got another thing coming.
This is a political board, guess what, politics will be discussed here.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Please give them space to do so.
I have actually thought about closing this site down.
