I have been voting mostly as a Democrat for more than 40 years and donated over $700 to Obama Campaign.

That all ends today. The NV Convention is the last straw.

The Democrats would rather lose the general with the liar and cheater-in-chief, Hillary Clinton, than win with an honest man-of-the-people, even if they have to steal the votes of a convention to get the Queen of Corruption nominated.

This lying cheating undemocratic political party no longer deserves my support. And neither does any candidate who would run on the ticket of such a corrupt party.

My vote for Bernie in the Texas primary will go down on record as my last EVER vote for anyone running on the ticket of the undemocratic "Democratic" Party.

I am now an Independent Voter and have joined a rapidly growing segment of the voting population in proclaiming myself as such.

In this primary Stalin's quote is true, "Those who cast the votes decide nothing.Those who count the votes decide everything."

I did not not think they would lose their composure so quickly but they muist be willing to risk it. Nevada was the turning point I think.

The tactics used there foretell what is coming. Look for it to get much worse. They fear the massive turn out expected at the Philadelphia convention and will make it clear that you go there at your own risk.

Don't get me wrong. I'll never give up.

Thanks for all the great responses to my blog about hope. I will never give up hope nor my way of viewing the world as a big interconnected system.

So I was cruising through CNN to see their latest clinton propaganda and ran across this story about Obama honoring the Nordic Nations who are in DC for a summit. Here's an Obama quote as he's musing to his aides.

"Why can't all countries be like the Nordic countries?"

This is then followed up by Charles Kupchan, Obama's top adviser for European affairs.

Is there any reason to hope?

I have virtually stopped writing and read less and less. I feel very alone. I am watching a system fall apart and as I watch the people in it seem to be engaged in even more theater than before.

This is not an election we are watching and maybe participating in. It does not even resemble an election. For years and years some of us have pointed out that our elections are a theater used by the oligarchy to narcotize a television watching audience.

So during a comment war pie fight I let myself get dragged into I ran across a hilariously ill informed gem. Someone comparing Bernie to Squealer from that classic banned Orwell book Animal Farm.

Squealer of course being the pig who declared everyone who dared question enemies of the revolution. Ones who had to be dealt with harshly. And I can see where he was going with it, PP leadership endorsing Hillary, so there go the "bros" Clyburn, Huerta, so on.

Bernie's win in Indiana has added strength to my resolve to continue actively supporting him, not that I would have stopped anyway. Yet the thought that the Democratic establishment still continues to support the venal Clinton whose amoral, and often illegal policies, are a disgrace to the boy politic. Yes, Trump's public rhetoric is horrific--an out-and-out Fascist. But it is Hillary's not-so-hidden corporatism/militarism (i.e., Fascism) which is every bit as horrendous.

Then twice monthly (eventually). By the end of this month our Membership here will have nearly doubled and from the membership we'll have enough good writers (not me) to fill a four page (FP, 2, 3, BP) Newsletter we can distribute pretty much anywhere (via Stop-N-Robs aka convenience stores) as well as other outlets. We can print these newsletters on our home printers, then distribute to convenience stores. Or maybe use Storify or one of those.
