Don't have TV. Was listening on radio to PBS coverage via public radio - which went back to "regular programming" at 10pm, just as Sanders was beginning to speak.
They did this once during last week's RNC then on following night's extended coverage through important speeches.

Just made my decision as to whether I would write in Bernie, or vote for Stein... His appeal for Hillary made me turn him off, and vote 3rd party. What power in the world can turn a man of supposed character and integrity into a fawning puppet. I am so sad, so disgusted, so, so, sooo aaaaaahhhhhhhhh
I had this hope. I had this dream that within my lifetime I would see the end of the corrupt political system. (My first vote was against Nixon). And I feel my entire voting life I've been given a bucket of shit and and bucket of vomit and I had to stick my head in one of them. Sometimes I was given a third bucket that was filled with piss. It was easier to stick your head into that one because it wasn't going to make you feel so bad about yourself the next day.
This Democratic Primary I was given a chance to stick my head in a bucket of FRESH AIR!!!!! That bucket was Bernie.
That hope was then snatched from me by a corrupt DNC.
The last time I cried like this was when "Birdie" landed.
P.S. At least he had the decency to not utter anything in the way of an endorsement (which by the way has happened only once as far as I know).

I think it's kind of clever. If she doesn't live up to what he says she supports, then his supporters - including Bernie - are free to leave. So it's the iron fist in the velvet glove.

As a new member to this site and someone who voted for Bernie but was never involved in the movement - I just want to say thank you to all of those who were making their voices heard in the convention hall yesterday. Please KEEP IT UP because the mainstream of the party has not heard you at all, and they do not deserve to have the fairy tale of "party unity" at the end of this convention. Clinton and her supporters need to know that there is a significant contingent of people on her side of the political spectrum who won't be bullied into voting for her. I still want her to have the chance to earn my vote, because otherwise there's nothing to gain for her by trying... but I'm not holding my breath. Thank you all for creating this web site and being here.
