The Pentagon recently announced that it was going to start drawing down troops from Iraq, but then this press release came out.
With all the sh*thole kerfuffle, it was easy to not notice a Senate Foreign Relations Committee meeting going on yesterday.
During that meeting something very ominous was said.
Questions for the audience:
Do all politicians of a political party agree to support the official party platform?
Are citizens who vote for political party politicians also supporting the party platform? If not supporting, are they validating it?
2017 saw the destruction of the IS Caliphate.
ISIS has not gone away, but it is now only a guerilla force rather than a pseudo-state.
However, ISIS managed to suck the U.S. back into the middle east wars, and we have no intention of leaving.

Hey folks, and welcome to between the lines. So I was a bit pissed off today after finding out that the VA had been floating some things about involving sending me and mine back to the street. Somebody must have pointed out how that tends to go, and they immediately backtracked.
Welcome to Between the Lines, where, just like that jerk in the front row of a magic show who won't stop pointing out how they do the tricks, I take a look at the Army's propaganda and do my level best to figure out where they're hiding the rabbit.
