I don't watch much MSNBC or CNN anymore but I usually have a TV droning in the background, especially in the morning. I usually go with CSPAN but today I landed on CNN.

My ears perked up when I heard someone say "Neoliberal has been a bad term for a long time."

Turned out to be David Frum responding to a question from Fareed Zakaria about what the American centrist establishment might learn from Macron.

Ever since I found that they had no interest in learning about, let alone organizing against, the dirty money behind Wall Street and leveraged buyout in the 1980s, I have not had much respect for Marxists and communists.

The November 16 edition of The Economist made a definitive statement.

For three decades the IMF was the leading champion of neoliberalism and globalism. They also were in a position where they could force their free-market fundamentalism views upon the teaming masses of the world.
However, times have changed.

I keep seeing concern trolls by the corporate Democrats telling us that the party will be destroyed if the Dems adopt a progressive agenda.
Let's forget for a moment that corporate Democrats have already led the party to destruction, and they are proven losers.

This morning I had my invisible bee-keeper's hat on while looking in the Villagers' honeycomb at GOS. They adore their neoliberal heroines, Joy Ann Reid, Nanci Pelosi, and of course, former Queen Bee Clinton herself.

Seven months after the election people are still debating why Trump beat Hillary.
While there are plenty of factors involved, the primary reason why Hillary lost was an event that happened nine years ago - the failure of the global neoliberal economic system.
