#BlackLivesMatter activist convicted of attempted felony lynching in California

June 2, 2016 . Jasmine Richards became the first black person in the U.S. to be convicted of lynching. No, she wasn't part of a mob torturing and hanging white men. Jasmine was trying to ‘unarrest’ another black woman she felt was being unlawfully taken by police. Will this be the governments response to protests and mutual aid? This should be in a Daily Dystopia thread.

Substance, lack of

Here's something I've noticed about the Clinton campaign and the comments of her supporters. First of all I saw a posting from someone on TOP asking, quite seriously, for the Clinton supporters to state the actual policies she holds that they were supporting. The poster asked in a very polite and non-combative manner. I'm sure you can guess the answers received: Clinton's already won, Google it, just shut up, go back and look, etc.

Bill Clinton Draws Itty Bitty Crowd

Yesterday Bill Clinton came to my neck of the woods, Las Cruces, NM (pop. 100,000). There was a rally in a middle school gym where 500 people showed up. Shocking! Even if one isn't supporting Hillary, one would think a former president would draw more people. In fact, that very president drew 35,000 in Las Cruces (he said it was his largest rally during that election) on Nov 1, 1996. People came from all over the southern part of the state, as well as many from the El Paso area.

Epcot Center

My parents used to take me to Disney World. I used to love it. I was a Disney child. I still am really.
But you know what always held my imagination? Epcot Center.
If you've never been to Disney World, Epcot Center is always the place people think is boring. No Disney mascots, no branded rides. That's how it used to be anyway.
So why did Epcot center hold my imagination way longer than any of the rides at Disney World?

Except for the lobbyists, the Platform Committee is looking very good (unlike the presumptive nominee). I found at least three of the DNC appointed committee to be excellent choices. Surprised to say so actually since I think it was 1972 the last time I had anything positive to say about them.
