North Korea Warns Over Strategic Bombers
A pair of American B-52H bombers was escorted by two Japanese F-2 fighter aircraft and two South Korean KF-16 fighter jets during a trilateral flight on Friday, according to the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command. It was the third such flight between the allies this year.
The B-52H bomber is capable of carrying up to 70,000 pounds of ordnance, such as bombs and missiles, the U.S. Air Force says. According to the Federation of American Scientists, 46 of the 76 B-52H bombers are nuclear-capable, while the rest are conventionally armed only.
It was not immediately clear whether the U.S. bombers that participated in the allied drill were nuclear-capable. Each nuclear-armed B-52H aircraft can carry up to 20 AGM-86B air-launched cruise missiles for nuclear strikes, the Federation of American Scientists added.
For a time after the Trump-Kim Singapore summit, continuing during the Moon administration in South Korea, US deployments of "strategic platforms" had been suspended. A Reuters press report suggested that the B-52 flight was deployed to the Korean peninsula. Haven't seen this corroborated. This article says the exercise was conducted (in international waters) between South Korea's Jeju Do and Japan's Kyushu.
Russia warns U.S., South Korea and Japan against forming security alliance targeting North Koreahttps://t.co/dPsj4JuMSc

Speaking with reporters after a meeting with his North Korean counterpart Choe Son Hui, Lavrov accused the U.S., South Korea and Japan of what he called military buildups around North Korea.
Here's some news on the earlier South Korean drone provocations against North Korea last year during the Yoon administration:

Kim Byung-joo, a member of the Supreme Council of the Democratic Party of Korea and a former four-star general, claimed at a Supreme Council meeting held at the National Assembly on the 4th, “According to reports from several reliable sources, the Drone Operations Command sent seven drones to North Korea on at least three occasions,” and “The Yoon Seok-yeol administration’s efforts to attract foreign exchange are gradually being proven to be true.”
Kim said, "First of all, on October 3, 2024, two unmanned aerial vehicles from the 101st Battalion on Baengnyeong Island, a unit under the drone command, took off at 10-minute intervals starting at 2 a.m., flew over Pyongyang, and returned around 6 a.m. This has been confirmed through flight records and various testimonies," and "The specific target coordinates have also been identified. It is in the area of Residence No. 15, known as Kim Jong-un's residence."
According to the report, drones were sent over North Korea on two other occasions, four overnight on October 8th - 9th, with one not returning, and just one flight on November 13, where the plan was abandoned for some reason.

Choe Son-hui is the Foreign Minister of North Korea. She started her career basically as a translator for the DPRK, at nuclear talks during the 90s. She's Kim's mentor on everything US. She is the DPRKs expert on the US. She and her staff met with Lavrov's delegation in Wonsan this week before Lavrov met with Kim Jong-un.
This photo below shows that Choe's relationship with Kim was solidified after the Hanoi incident. She turned North Korea toward Russia.
(Source- Channel A News 4.26.19) Choe Son Hui (left circle) arrives in the same limo with Kim Jong Un at the Vladivostok venue for the summit. Her nominal boss, Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho, (right circle) apparently rode in the front, while Choe sat in the rear with Kim Jong Un.
Choe was appointed to the powerful State Affairs Committee in April 2019 soon after the US humiliation of both Kim Jong-eun and Choe at the Hanoi Summit. I'll never forget the scene there recorded on video when Trump walked away from the talks with Choe chasing him down the hallway, pleading with him to come back. She appears to get along well with Lavrov.
Looks like the US has a regime change operation underway in South Korea. But the South Koreans aren't unaware:
Seoul National University and Seoul City have disallowed a lecture and speech by Professor Mos Tan (Korean name Dan Hyun-myeong), a Korean-American legal scholar at Liberty University in the United States who has spread false information about President Lee Jae-myung and has advocated for a “rigged election.” Seoul National University has canceled the lecture invitation it had initially approved after confirming the lecture content, and Seoul City has also withdrawn its invitation to the speech.
Morse Tan, a right wing activist, an American from Liberty University, has been interfering in the South Korean domestic political scene on behalf of the far right Yoon supporters. Apparently, he is associated with the KCPAC here in the US. He's got some song and dance about Chinese communists interfering in South Korean elections and President Lee Jae-myung being a rapist as a minor, the punishment for which kept him from attending school. He and Gordon Chang are buddies. His recent lecture scheduled at Seoul National University was cancelled for "security reasons." Seoul City also canceled a scheduled presentation.
This video shows the right wing paramilitary goons and other far right Yoon supporters receiving Morse Tan at the Inchon International Airport yesterday. It's in Korean, but Tan always appears to speak in English even when addressing Korean crowds, although he claims to be fluent in Korean. I set the video up to translate in English as much as feasible with the youtube controls. The visual imagery and hearing him confabulate the truth are what is most significant. There is a church name on the limo that picked him up, but the church said they didn't know anything about it. You can never be sure. His support comes in part from far right fundamentalists in the US and South Korea.
This is from an editorial Professor Tan authored June 30 in the Washington Times.
In fact, the election last month was the largest fraudulent election in South Korean history. To be sure, CCP influence interference was significant. However, the corruption, opacity and lack of accountability of the South Korean National Election Commission, which conducted the election, also contributed to the problem. The NEC has contemptuously dismissed strong evidence of fraud. Moreover, the Lee administration is persecuting brave South Koreans who are calling attention to the fraud.
This is classic ugly American, interference in the domestic politics of South Korea. I don't think he should ever be allowed to enter South Korea again.

Senator's comments on Russia-North Korea
Listening to Sen. Blumenthal talk about the Russian - North Korean relationship and the potential risks there, he doesn't seem to realize that the US created the current situation, just as it created the situation in Ukraine. (The Russian- North Korean cooperation is now across a broad spectrum of security interests). It is also the US creating the provocations in East Asia with China over Taiwan.
(edit-okay fixed that)
