So right! I wasn't thinking. Good morning, Arrow, and thank
you. Have yourself a wonderful day.

Happy Birthday Bill Payne
These guys were still together when I was in Yountville, which is plastered all over the front page of the local rag now, triggering a major depressive episode. Another one, just like the other one. oof

Leek butts Day 11
thanks
Good morning, eyo. Thanks for the clip, a couple of great tunes
Your leeks look to be coming along nicely. Have a good one.

Love the leek
This works for other veggies; lemongrass, garlic, fennel, scallions, bok choy, cabbage, romaine lettuce, ginger, onion, and pineapple.
Morning, el, waiting for 'roads ' to be cleared...
not yet decided whether to risk the drive to the mountain as it's going to storm all day and coming home might be difficult with front tires having no traction.
Anyways, my luck to be here and not miss being "On the Road."
Memories from youth sweetly tinge inside me, flakes as large as window's morning snow knowing that i was not alone then... and hopefully, not now.
Cheers to Kerouac for lifting up a generation of seekers and thanks to you, el, for this morning's thread. Have a wonderful day everyone!
Good morning, smiley7. Thanks for the Keroac. There are some
clips of Keroac reading Keroac out there on youtube somewhere. You might like: "Poets on the Peaks: Gary Snyder, Philip Whalen & Jack Kerouac in the Cascades [John Suiter] " if you haven't already read it. Have a great day, whatever you decide.

Stay warm.
We had a 91 degree F. day on Saturday and today our low was 49F. Thank goodness not 91 today.
Google censored web site list
Here is the original list of demonetized-by-google sites, the last three I added myself. Join the fun why not, add another. Reading wikileaks makes me grouchy as hell, corporate email is so disgusting, extra sauce for spewing forth from the "highest" levels of U.S. government. Same same.

Interesting person
that Clara Fraser. Wikipedia just has a bit about her but this caught my eye;
Without going into too much detail, that section from Wikipedia was just explaining what happened to an organization that Fraser was a part of. Some things never change, whether it's small organizations trying to make things better, or countries attempting that incredible feat. Always the clampdown on real democracy.
Good morning, randtntx. History is full of these interesting
non-famous people and their interesting lives and activities. Meanwhile we re constantly bombarded with the same stale tales of the same well known and largely mythic heroes and celebs. Ah well ...
Thanks for the clash.

It seems to me
Thanks for your lists, music and all, esp. L. Minnelli.

know your rights
I never log in root, but always go with sudo. Ubuntu has no
fortune, but your comment reminds me that I used to have a program that would throw the I ching for one and then display and explain & interpret the result. Actually 2, one used the classic version & one used "the street corner ching". Junco partner - nice.

A dozen thanks for the OT, el
Arrived home after a 10 day trip yesterday. The rain gauge held 4" that fell since we left. Spring has sprung, but some high 20's due this week. I hope to get to the wildflower pocket on Pigeon Mt sometime this week...

It is a spectacular spot. Wish y'all could join me.
Have a good one everybody!

Good morning Lookout, we're supposed to get rain almost
all week, but none yet today. Good luck with the wildflowers. We're ramping up for our annual desert run in Early April. About 3 weeks out into and down thru the desert and then over to and backup along the coast. We usually get some wildflowers on that trip.

I have seed bombs to throw. But another Nor'easter tonight.
Went to the gastro doc as follow-up to my ulcers. Still painful (3/10 scale). Next month get a repeat endoscopy as things have settled down. Also the Other End. Been a decade. At least I'll be vacant. There is now a blood test for liver damage. Go to hospital tomorrow or so to have blood work. My first visit with no copay, ever.
I saw my first buzzard this year. Displaying wings. Damn cool. A biker clued me in. So the birds return.
Hey! my dear friends or soon-to-be's, JtC could use the donations to keep this site functioning for those of us who can still see the life preserver or flotsam in the water.
Good afternoon, riverlover. Hope the weather doesn't get too
bad. Good luck with your tests and congrats on the lack of copay.
