Bill Clinton looks horrible
Submitted by PastorAgnostic on Wed, 03/09/2016 - 5:21am
During the various channel surfing excercises my fingers committed, (what the Hell happened to MSNBC?) I came upon Bill giving a talk in Mississippi. He sounded disjointed, disorganized, and totally lacking in energy. He looked even worse. I wonder if he has something going on health wise.
This was hours before early returns in MI started trickling in.
I know, as my creaking body tells me, people do age. But Bill looked so bad, you wonder why the campaign even puts him out there. What group are they aiming for, when he looks so decrepit? No way in hell will he attract the yute for Hillary. At this point, he is not a huge asset.
On edit, turns out Bill was in my state yesterday, Evanston, IL. Huh.

I can't fathom the minds
that think he's an asset of any kind.

It is almost as though they dusted off a 1990's playbook
for this campaign. It is not working. At least it is not working well.
For the few minutes that I surfed MSNBC, I wanted to hand them a box of Kleenex. They haz a sad there. Cnn actually did a reasonable job, and shocker, fox seemed to play act as real newsies. My local news (Chicago) was surprised, but mostly fair.
The pivot point in polling is about age 45
people above 45 break for Clinton, below that break for Sanders. If you are 45 today you were 21 in 92.
Hillary is trading on Clinton nostalgia. I have no idea to what extent her success with the AA community reflects that, or if there are additional factors. The problem is, Republicans and Republican-leaning independents have no Clinton nostalgia, and Democratic-leaning independents don't identify with the party in part because of issues with the Clintons.
Clinton may run the best 90s campaign ever, but she will crash and burn as the nominee.

I was just old enough...
To remember the constant "Oh fuck, REALLY Bill?" news stories.
Especially when it came to all the crap Bill did in the name of "Justice" and "Law".
I think they are confusing media adulation with public support.
I do not pretend I know what I do not know.
"I think they are confusing media adulation with..."
public support."
bingo.
that's bill & hillary's problem - & their campaign can't do anything about it b/c everyone is on the clinton gravy train, & telling their corporate majesties that they actually have no clothes means being kicked off it.
Some kind of palsy
When he was holding a piece of paper in his left hand, he is left handed, and extended it forward for emphasis, he was notably shaking.
Could be adult onset Parkinson's, or some thing else neurological. Definitely not "natural" aging process.
Speaking of not healthy - has anyone else noticed how often Hillary has had to stop speaking, and couldn't control her coughing. Now that's not a good sign at all. Happened at the very end of the last "debate" town hall what ever it was, too.
Bill's appearance
I try to avoid "lookist" comments, but the first time (a month or more back, time flies) I thought he looked grey and shakey and a bit off. Like not in good health. I certainly remember when I was coming back from extremely ill, I looked like sh*t.
I do not have fond feelings for the man, but it's somewhat disconcerting about how bad he looks.
Hey! my dear friends or soon-to-be's, JtC could use the donations to keep this site functioning for those of us who can still see the life preserver or flotsam in the water.
When I look in the mirror and hope to see me in my 30s
Then realize that was two decades ago, I am not one to usually point out looks or age. But Bill really looks unwell.
My feelings, exactly.
I've been through the death of my husband, at 63, one year after he took early Social Security. I have seen dying now. I just hope the campaign isn't shoving him out there. He is no longer good as a spokesman.

My condolences.
I am so blessed with a wonderful partner, I wonder what life would be like without her.
Holes in the soul are tough to fill.
i think it's more a case of not being able to STOP him from
campaigning for her. he's always been a narcissist in search of a camera (imo) & the campaign is probably tearing its collective hair out trying to keep him off the trail.
it's all good for us, tho, so i hope he stays out there.
Perhaps
Hillary is poisoning him. Perhaps Hillary has swapped his Viagra with Chinese viagra made with melamine? I'll try to be kind. Perhaps he is moving from depravity to dementia as witnessed by his unlawful appearance at the polling precinct in Massachusetts?

In Massachusetts,
Bill was a public embarrassment to the dignity of the office of President when he electioneered for his wife outside of polling places. These people should never be allowed back in the White House. They are self serving and have no respect for the democratic process or the people of this nation. And yes, Bill looks sickly.

If they weren't so dangerous
I would feel more sorry for them (Bill and Hill). I know Bernie will be alright if he doesn't win. Hillary won't be. They (Bill and Hill) are a toxic, mendacious and corrupt couple who just need to feed off their power. They will have nothing if/when she fails. Out of power their Wall $treet $peeches will not garner such fees. Pathetic couple
Don't believe everything you think.
her loss in november (if she makes it that far) will be the
end of the clinton political machine - & the last time we have to hear their name(s) mentioned as candidates for anything (i hope).
I only wish. but they are grooming Chelsea.
And her husband
They'll still have
the multi-billion dollar CGI to funnel funds.
Their political influence won't go away if she loses. We're looking at "moderately diminished" if she loses vs. "massively increased" if she wins.
As I said elsewhere, his charm is fading
and the Jerkass underneath is showing through more and more. Bill Clinton is both Hillary Clinton's biggest asset - and her biggest liability.
There is no justice. There can be no peace.
I find it sad to think
that Hillary sees how bad Bill looks, yet she sends him out anyway. Nothing is more important than power and the money it will bring in. Nothing. To be fair, Bill may be driving himself hard, but she should put her foot down and insist that he ease up.

The MSM campaign reporters that I listen to, say that WJC
not only looks weak and bad, but that his stump speeches are often disjointed and very rambling. They say this in only very slightly more polite language, than I just employed.
Basically, he appears to be a 'shell of himself.' (politically speaking)
BTW, he was flown in as a last ditch effort in MI. We all know what good that did!
Great to see you here, PastorAgnostic, and WoodsDweller--a hearty C99P welcome!

how wrong of me to think "good!"
How in the world did he get the nomination in '92? Oh yeah, that's right. It's fairly fixed.

How-Dee!
I've raised the issue with others, and it is almost like a release for them to agree, as though they hesitated admitting and understanding what they were seeing in BC. Once it is in the open, they all agree and add their own observations.
One friend said BC reminded him of his dad after a stroke.
What is it about our political media that such an observation goes unmentioned? I am sure they are as aware as we, but they choose to say nothing. We should embarrass them.
Both Bill and Hillary look like they have health issues
Bill has the pale frail look of severe cardiac/lung issues. I would not be surprised if he is on oxygen when in private.
I was able to get a better handle on Hillary during the Fox Town Hall, something had been making me uncomfortable. When she entered the walk was little slower an stiffer than normal and the upper back and neck looked really stiff. A couple of side shots to her hand showed inflamed knuckles and joint movements similar to rheumatoid arthritis. It got me wondering has she released a health statement. I know she pushed Bernie to release one from his physicians.
A person can serve with health issues - Roosevelt, Kennedy and Cheney.

whoa, there, Stu.
Are you suggesting that Cheney is a life form?
Seriously?
That requires a leap of faith of such magnitude that agnostics and atheists simply are not capable of handling it. Much like tea baggers have allergies to fact and science, we have this incapacity to accept faith as the basis of anything.
You make a strong point.
I will need to re-evaluate the evidence.

WJC had major heart surgery
And many people have post-surgical neurological effects from that kind of cardiac intervention. The whole heart-lung machine thing is doggone difficult for any human body.
So sad. For them.
The sad part (for Team Hillary) is, 10% of Bubba at his best is better than 100% of HRC at hers.
