Thanks for the invitation to stop back by, everybody.
When I got the invite, I went to get a new password, and suddenly--BAM!--I got an error message.
I wondered what was happening, until dkmich told me: so many people came here from DK that it crashed the server.
Well, well, well. 
It's good to see you all here--those I knew from the site's early days, and all of you who are newly come here.

of days ago, and was trying to say 'hello' when the site crashed.
Isn't it incredible, what has happened in less than (I think) 72 hours? Wow!

I am very pleased that the lifeboat has gotten this big, and served this many.
However, I'd say that I nurtured the idea in its infancy and toddlerhood--but once it was out of diapers, it was others, who stayed here and worked their butts off, who grew it into what it is today.
And I'm glad they did, b/c it's important that there was a solid site here for when Markos decided to throw the match.

Others may have worked their butts off...
to build it, but it was your vision that inspired it and here it is, in fruition. You worked your butt off building the initial core of this project. I remember, the dream always was to eventually have a website to share our dreams with others. It wouldn't have gotten done without your vision.

Welcome home. Look at your baby now. I've missed you a lot and think of you often. Hope you do come back even though you've given up blogging. lol. I gave up trying to quit now i just try to manage my addiction. Having caucus99percent has helped a lot. Thank you so much for working hard for a better place, a lifeboat and a great community. Glad you moved and are settled in.
You also gave me the courage to take a chance and not be dependent on a toxic, abusive so called progressive blog. I'm no longer a registered Dem. but did re-register in order to vote for Bernie.
