Jimmy Dore Blows the Doors off the Democratic Party Tonight
Yup, I like Jimmy Dore and the Jimmy Dore Show... but tonight he was on fire. I am talking 10 videos, all of them worth watching, and if you follow Jimmy, this is actually quite a rare event, so I guess he had a few things on his mind... not only that, but they are almost all about the election, the Democratic Party and Hillary Clinton and her cabal of losers.
It all begins with a playful guest-host, Robert Yasumura, on how to explain the election to your children. No spoilers here it is:

Hilarious and succinct. Who will think of the children! After this amuse-bouche, we hit the appetizer section, dealing with the Dakota Access Pipeline, and the idea that the right has an alternative narrative that is pro-pipeline that is being ignored.... enjoy the mocking, derision and partial insanity in this beautiful post-fact world these rubes live in:

Tasty. Oily. Fried-food ftw. Now, time for an interlude of entertainment about that guy punching the kangaroo to save his dog, because that's shit you just don't see everyday:
[video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDYuZ9Q-Bwo]
I have to admit, I wasn't so hot about seeing a kangaroo getting punched, but having two pooties of my own, I might have rushed in there so fast, the roo might have had me in a headlock as well... anyways I digress! Time for the serious shit. In one swoop, Jimmy does more for Louisiana Senate candidate Foster Campbell, by first pointing out that the Democratic Party is entirely missing in action for this man, followed by a second video explaining why Foster Campbell deserves everyone's support, whether the Democratic Party likes it or not:

Thanks Jimmy, you just did more than Pelosi and Schumer in the entirety of 2 videos. I know it's a low-bar, but nice jump! Remember, in the neoliberal Democratic Party winning elections is secondary, money is primary. Mission accomplished in Louisiana. So who is this terrible leader that seems to love losing elections more than anything? We now enter the main course of our evening, a 2-part analysis of leader and fundraiser extraordinaire Nancy Pelosi:
[video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=miAZ_vlDAVs]
[video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5HjXFh0qBCw]
Fired up, ready to go! Who do we want? Nancy Pelosi! What do we want? THE SAME! Holy shit, I think I have to slip this in here just to balance it all out a little bit:
[video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cCKONHUigVk]
Now that my lobotomy is complete, weirdly, I am still hungry. Luckily this is one of those main courses that just keep coming, as we are served a full dish of the Democratic Party's bullshit. Luckily a few paninis are on the side so we can optionally make our own sandwiches:
[video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SchCRMbzVnk&t=130s]
Yummy! Nothing like the smell of caca in the morning! Amazing how fecal matter fills the old tummy... but there is something I am forgetting... I can't quite put my finger on it.... o ya, desert! My mind slipped there, I hate it when I forget things, like how Elizabeth Warren forgot there was a protest in North Dakota over a pipeline for six months, that dam memory! Wait, what? She remembered recently? I suppose that Clinton bandwagon finally stopped somewhere and Liz needs to go somewhere... Where was I, oh yes, the forgotten desert!:
[video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PL2PbnrVmQ8]
I know, this desert isn't for everyone, and it is usually very good, but this last year it has had that excrement odor and flavor that has been permeating my political Party for the last 30 years plus, oops, I mean meal of course... that's one thing I'll never forget, the smell of cowardice intermingled with selling-out, in my food. Let's hope they revert to the old recipe. Wow, what a meal.... time for an aperitif to digest, and who better to help you forget the awful meal you just ate than our favorite progressive sell-out of all time (move over Barney Frank!), the one the only, Howard Dean. On Morning Joe. Explaining why we lost. So let's resume- Howard Dean-Morning Joe-Why we lost, the trifecta of wasting your time, my time, but luckily, not Jimmy Dore's:
[video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmzSlFxnn64]
Nothing like an old man in a ghastly sweater vest, blaming the kids for all of Clinton's woes... Hey Howard, Mr. Rogers called from the great beyond and is suing your sellout ass for crimes against decency. So 10 videos later, I sit exhausted, giddy from the jokes, sad from the reality of the sad state affairs of both our country, and the Party that used to represent me, slightly gaseous and bloated from the establishment serving of:

My sincerest apologies for what I will now term Democratic propaganda... sorry Sweden, sorry LEGO, we need this for the neoliberal "revolution" that has swept this wonderful land; we won the election, we have the mandate, and we are fucking awesome!
Thank-you Jimmy for an incredible evening of confirming just about every single thought I've had this last month.

Fighting for democratic principles,... well, since forever
Forgot to mention...
To be "Sell Outs", you need what people call Principles: But I forget, We're post-Clinton.

Okay, okay, we are the lesser post-truth evil...
Now if I could only post this on Daily Kos... they would add another year to my banning, lol.

Progressive to the bone.
Robert Yasumura should talk to some children . . .
Children are more aware than he seems to think.
My five year old granddaughter wanted to stay up and watch the election results, however she complied with her mother's wishes. She was quite concerned that the man looked quite angry.
The next morning she asked about the election until my daughter acquiesced and showed her the results and photos. She noted that the man didn't look as angry now as he did last night.
Thank you for this.
Love your commentary and will watch the videos.

Regarding Liz Warren
I think she blew a good opportunity to also link in Wall Street to DAPL. While many people don't understand what the real fight is with Wall Street, what better way to illustrate that in a real life way. This is what Wall Street does at the bottom of it all, exploit resources and people across not only this country but the entire globe.
But of course that assumes she really WANTS to fight even Wall Street. What better way than to fight something you know you'll never really beat while looking good doing it? Yes, I am now that cynical.
Thanks for these videos, made my day to watch them all!

I treat Warren with a big grain of salt. I am always dubious of
political figures who start out as Repukelicans in their youth. Most of them are just fake Democrats now. Rec'd!!

Much as I adore Jimmy Dore, I
Much as I adore Jimmy Dore, I do feel obliged to point out that comparing the human-related attitudes of a domestic pig - or a dog, or of any other domesticated species of young-raising animal with pet potential - raised as a beloved and pampered pet to that of one factory-farm-raised in a tiny/crowded pen with its only experience misery, not petted or well-treated and likely callously regarded/abused by humans as well, and attributing the difference in expectations and response to people to their genetics is kinda silly. And that packs of dogs, as well as wild predators, do attack kangaroos, (sometimes chased to exhaustion/death by humans with dogs/vehicles for sport by yahoos) which are smart enough to - and entitled to - dispose of potential threats where they can, not that I don't think that the hunting-dog shouldn't have been rescued. Also, that clip sounded like to me rather like one of those videos where such situations are set up for entertainment value.
And that Pelosi must be utterly insane to publicly claim that Dems are good with protecting national security when it's just been conclusively proven that they're beyond reckless with it in their rabidly greedy effort evidently toward global totalitarian corporate/billionaire power and ownership, going by the traitorous awarding to hostile and destructive self-interests of The People's right of domestic law manifesting in what are termed 'trade deals', and the personal rewards complicit members of both corporate parties gain from this. I know that this evidence of mindless recklessness with national security by the State Department and higher, with the corruption of the FBI shown by its smoothing-over as 'mere (routine and wide-spread) carelessness' which would nonetheless have had anyone else rotting in prison, was the first thing to spring into my mind when she said that, causing the Big Lie tactic of repetition to fail miserably yet again.
Long live the facts, the concept of democracy and Wikileaks/brave whistleblowers/heroic protestors such as those of Occupy and Standing Rock/sites like C-9, all of the only things we reality-based people have going for us against the crazed Greeds and their propaganda/military machinery and corporate monopolies.
