Effective March 10, the Michigan Secretary of State has altered the policy on transgender people changing the gender on our driver's license.
Under the new policy, a passport denoting current gender is enough proof to change the gender on the license. The old policy required proof that the applicant had undergone sex reassignment surgery.
The above title speaks for itself. It does not contain my interpretation of Sanders nor that of any Bernie Bro, or Berner or Millenial or Hobbit, either.
Rather than writing another post about Markos’ ridiculous authoritarian decree to line up behind the establishment, I decided to write about the other major problem with that site. It’s a breakdown showing just how much of the front page is filled with Trump and other “dumb stuff a Republican said” posts and how little of it is about electing more and better Democrats. Could not find an open thread this morning, so please excuse this video post. Bernie Sanders spoke to an estimated 14,000 supporters yesterday afternoon in Salt Lake City, Utah (the reporter on KSL-TV News guessed 10,000, but the more accurate number came from the staff at This is The Place Heritage Park).
You can all relax: The government has a plan for the coming Zombie Apocalypse.
No, not that kind of quickie. I have to work today, so can't stay long.
But for those of you who haven't heard, Daily Kos' beloved Pootie Queen, triciawyse, passed away about a week ago from complications from pancreatitis. She was in her 40s.
Her funeral/memorial service began this morning at 10 AM, as did our memorial service over on DKos. Her family will be reading that diary later.
