A Campaign Manager's Perspective on the anti-Trump Protests

A lot of people lately have been commenting on how the anti-Trump protests could hurt Bernie Sanders' election chances. I thought I would share my views on this issue from the perspective of a campaign manager. Caveat: this is not my *moral* opinion on how things are or how they should be. This is my political opinion of the effect of anti-Trump protests on Sanders' electoral viability.

Erkenntnisfaehigkeit, distilled into its parts, is recognition-ability. It is often translated cognitive ability. Yet recognition and cognition need not be coextensive.

It is not the ability to recognize patterns per se, but the ability to recognize that we recognize something. What does this mean?

A Request to all Lifeboaters Still Posting at GOS

Background: davidincleveland used to be one of my favorite people at DKos. He was in our original lifeboat group. Then, one day, he disappeared not only from the group, but from DKos, from FB--pretty much everywhere I could find. Knowing he had some health problems, I was worried about him. When I couldn't find him, after many months, I concluded (sadly) that he had probably either become incapacitatingly ill, or had died.
