Bernie's List

Just read an "insider's" article on Politico (http://www.politico.com/story/2016/04/bernie-sanders-fundraising-list-22...) about Bernie's very much coveted contributor list of the millions of his supporters that contribute whenever he sends an email. The entire DNC and their down-ballot candidates want his campaign to be over already so they can get access to his list. That includes Hillary, her superdelegate pals, and pro-Clinton groups. In other words, every turncoat pseudo progressive out there. The authors concluded that after the dust settles, Bernie will just give his list to the Democratic powers that be because Bernie always comes through for his fellow Dems, like voting for the ACA and Dodd-Frank. I think Bernie should keep this list in a vault and use it to build up our movement so we can become the government our country once was - for the people, not the 1%. Besides, I would feel betrayed by Bernie if the Clintonistas got their greedy hands on my information. I won't vote for Hill; why would I want to contribute to her or her sycophants? What do you think?

that was gathered from the 'datagate' incident. There may be another answer but my kid is a Bernie voter/contributor and was purged from roles in Brooklyn. Let's just say I don't trust them, and don't want my name added to their hit list.

In retrospect, it struck me that I started receiving unsolicited emails from the Clint0n campaign shortly after the first breach. I do not believe this was a coincidence.

I think we know exactly where the information on which voters to purge came from."

I don't know what their specific arrangement is between ActBlue and the Democrat party, but I will bet that DNC already has access to the list of Bernie contributers thru ActBlue. After all, when Bernie signed up to run as a Dem, it was all one big happy family.

IMO, the Dems let Bernie run as a Dem b/c they thought his progressive credentials would capture the liberals and Hellery would triangulate to the centrists voters. Little did they envision this Revolution thingy getting out of control. Biggrin

Even when I was practicing law, I have always been very low income (except for a year or two, I always worked for non-profits) plus being a single mom of two, I had never contributed money to a political campaign. Why would I contribute $20 or $50, which for me would buy a lot of lunches, when the candidates could get thousands upon thousands from their rich donors? Even for Obama, I did not contribute a penny.

The first time I have contributed is to Bernie Sanders. I started almost a year ago, with a monthly donation (with a few tiny contributions in between) and now I changed it to weekly. For that I have given up getting haircuts and mani/pedis (not a luxury, at my age I can't comfortably reach my feet.) Does Hillary think I would do that for her? Think again, bitch.

First off, I'd like to give a shout out to Harry Reid. Fuck you Harry! After the shit you pulled in Nevada and you're asking for Bernie's list!! Fuck you again Harry!!
Secondly, Who the hell thinks that Bernie's donors would give money or support to anyone other than Bernie? I'm on Bernie's list. I'd consider donating to Tulsi Gabbard or Jeff Merkley, you know, pols that had enough guts to come out and support Bernie but I won't give a dime to the ones that supported clinton including my own senator Sherrod Brown. And the fence riders like Warren? Not a dime.
So yeah washington insiders, even if you do get "THE LIST" good luck with it....

Think Sanders Campaign should give their donors the opportunity to OPT OUT of having their emails and personal information shared. Maybe some already have the list, nothing the Clintons do would ever surprise me. But I still think for Bernie Sanders to keep his integrity, he should give his funders the chance to opt out of sharing their information.

We didn't give money to the Democrats, we gave it to Bernie Sanders. Think it would show a lack of integrity to give the information to the very people we're trying to defeat.

Donors are people who had never contributed to a campaign before. The reason his donations are small is that they often come from people who are living on social security, poor working people, etc. They/we give up something to afford these small donations. Politicians who think these people will donate to them if Bernie is out, are incredibly stupid.

I got a letter from the Hillary Victory Fund telling me that "we have a real fight on our hands." I sent back a form wherein they asked for a "Personal Message to Hillary!" This is the message I sent:

Yep! You got a fight on your hands alright. And the fight is with me and a lot of other progressives who don't like Republicans masquerading as Democrats. Go away!

I signed it and sent it back in the postage paid envelope with my contribution amount as "zero." I figure the fat cats can afford the postage.

The letter probably means her campaign has at least a portion of Bernie's list. My reply should give them a hint as to how much good it will do them.

I love that Bernie has already stated that his support will be conditional on Clinton's stances. It's the perfect response, and it puts the Clinton Democrats on notice. They're going to need Bernie's support, and the only way they're going to get many votes from his supporters is with a very public and repeated commitment to many of his issues. He will get credit for that, and his power will grow.

If Clinton tells him to buzz off and drops the unity rhetoric right after the convention, Bernie won't be shy or quiet about calling her out on it. She'll lose a lot of potential votes, and will sweat a lot more in the general. She will come to realize marginalizing Bernie and his supporters is a big mistake.

This interview tells me the campaign continues after Philadelphia, and that's the best news I've heard in a while.

Please help support caucus99percent!

The question I want to keep asking.

Why would anyone in the Democratic party expect to get votes from Independents or any of the other people funding and supporting Bernie Sanders when they've said so often only REGISTERED Democrats should be allowed to vote in a Democratic primary. Why would people who did not have a voice in selecting the nominee, be expected to vote for that nominee? Just doesn't make sense. It has nothing to do with "party unity" -we aren't members of the Democratic party and we were not welcome to participate in primaries, so why should we be expected to support their nominee?

In fact, the only GOP candidate who does is Cruz:

This is just contributors and the model doesn't hold for self-funded candidates. What it does show is that if Ivanka's Boyfriend is not the nominee, then the GOP has no data on their largest demographic. He may even be doing that deliberately to help secure the nomination.

Personally, I'm not afraid of The Orange One because his unfavourability is so stratospheric(citizen ship applications are starting to overwhelm the system here in the PNW). And if the DNC wants to scare me on that front, they would be more credible if they backed the man who beats him...

Bernie’s email list is worth squat to the Democrats. Bernie and his policies brought people into that party, not the Clintons, or their authoritarian DLC trickle down politics or the DNC. After deleting the “no show”s , #BernieOrBusts, #NeverHillarys, Independents, Hillary operatives and spies, and Republicans from Bernie’s email list, they might get 40% of the handful left that would actually be willing to give them $27.00 one time — maybe. If they’re lucky, 50% of what’s left might even give Hillary their vote.

If Bernie's list is valuable in the future it would have to used correctly, and in my mind that effective way to use it is the way he has been using it - by Bernie sending a plea to support a specific candidate that embodies Bernie's/our values. Basically, the list is useless to the DNC for what the DNC would likely try to use it.

Her clueless sense of entitlement, and on-going stubborn refusal on transparency,
