Democracy Now Interview with Bernie Delegate and HRC Supporter

I didn't watch any of the speeches yesterday, but watched many interviews. I was especially impressed by the Sanders delegate in this interview. (The HRC person will make you feel nauseous however.) He clearly states that he will never vote for HRC. I saw few folks in the interviews I watched who were rolling over into unity.

Disability Caucus 7/26/16: "Get a Job or Start Your Own Business!!!!111!"

When I argue with some people online, these are two of the responses I get with regards to employment or disabilities. Then there's the classic "Stop using your disabilities as your excuse!!!!111!"(Yeah, let's see these assholes live a day in the life of someone with Hemiplegic Cerebral Palsy and the physical problems that go with it and say that.) There are problems with all of these.

Trump, Bernie, Hillary tweet trolling. Laugh or cry?

Whenever I don't know whether to laugh or cry, I laugh.

Cry?

Donald J. Trump ‏@realDonaldTrump
Sad to watch Bernie Sanders abandon his revolution. We welcome all voters who want to fix our rigged system and bring back our jobs.

Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump
Bernie Sanders totally sold out to Crooked Hillary Clinton. All of that work, energy and money, and nothing to show for it! Waste of time.

Laugh?

The Sanders campaign and the party for the people in the crowd.

As I've explained before, and as I'll be explaining in a review of Jodi Dean's Crowds and Party (review forthcoming in the September issue of Capitalism Nature Socialism), there needs to be a “party for the people in the crowd.” Bernie Sanders appears to be calling off the political revolution, oblivious to the notion that the Democratic Party is about to evic

Senator Warren's rousing speech

Horseshit. Propaganda. Hogwash. I just wonder if she actually wrote that stuff, of if some staffer gleaned catchphrases from her speeches and mixed it with some progressive slogans and said "here, read this"... I heard some occasional yelling or chanting in the background, but I wouldn't expect them to mention it if it was any kind of protest. (that's aside from the cheering section chanting) I'm not going to hang out and watch Bernie do it; Johnny Carson is coming on in a few.

Jimmy Dore interviews Jill Stein

For me, Enough is Enough, as someone once said. I've had enough of the Convention's fake togetherness. I'm not even going to watch Bernie.

Check out Jimmy Dore's great interview with Jill Stein today. He has a short interview with Tim Black at the beginning which is terrific. I think Jimmy may be considering going green. If he is he probably can't talk about it on TYT's anymore because unity and all that.
