Legend of Bernie Sanders

I wonder what the future will say about this election we're watching. Will it be known as "the years we kicked the can further down the road?" Will it be known as" the years that destroyed America?" Will it be known as " the years of the political revolution?" We don't know yet. But we have the great opportunity to radically change this country, to make history.Will we continue to just settle for crumbs? Will we continue to settle for baby steps toward progress?

A few months back I wrote a diary over at TOP arguing that Donald Pumpkinhead is a "Borderer Strongman". I think that description is still apt, but I realized today that the argument can be extended to cover the current state of politics in this country.

Steampunk: Street Prophets Sunday All Day Brunch

For those of us old enough to remember the television show The Wild, Wild West that is now what we call Steampunk. It has been said that Steampunk mainly takes place in an alternate Earth around the Victorian era where steam driven devices are the norm. Randall Garret's Lord Darcy books are a prime example of Steampunk literature.

Wisconsin Democrats advise proportional delegate division, dump supers

I got the good news from a couple state delegates this evening at our little progressive café’s open mic night. I didn’t do state convention, but represented Bernie at the 6th CD convention, which chose 6 of our state's national delegates, evenly split, even though every county in the 6th went for Sanders.
