I finally felt good enough to take my smaller camera out and take some pictures of the beautiful flowers we have growing around this apartment complex. I must say I have never lived in a more beautiful landscaped place then here. Of course I sort of forgot to check the weather report first figuring that early in the morning was going to be okay.

Just a quick post to apologize for not posting a photography essay last weekend. I was out of town for a few days on short notice and busy. I only had my smartphone with me which is great for posing snarky tweets but little else. A photography essay om c99 is well beyond its or mine capabilities.

Welcome of Thursday Coffee Hour. I try and present things to look at that are a break from all politics all the time. I am fortunate in the fact that this year I live is a beautiful apartment complex with people in the front office who actually want us and understand disability needs. I would have put this up this morning being it is Sunday but yesterday afternoon I had a sudden seizure and ended up until 2:30 a.m. in the Emergency. They still aren't sure what happened. My arms and legs are massive purple bruises. My right side is agony. My lower lip swollen twice its size. I don't remember falling. Reid says I was unconscious on the floor and having problems breathing. I tried to push away the firefighters.

at certain times? There are plenty of photographs showing up now, but for those of us house-bound, or city-bound, or grey-day depressed, would it be nice to try to set up a cooperative schedule? I am not an organizer, but I put this idea out, knowing it's been discussed here re: some people who we enjoyed elsewhere.

One of the things about digital cameras is that you really don't know what you are going to get until you pull it up on the computer. These are some of the surprises I discovered.

The Hamlin Marsh Wildlife Management Area is about a mile from my house. At some point, I'm not really sure when, the DEC put in a wheelchair accessible hunting blind. The parking area and trail to the blind, as well as the blind itself, are a prime birding area. All a two minute drive from my front door :).
