It's Friday!
I have to admit, I have been having difficulty knowing which day of the week I occupy. Leaving the work force is both liberating and disorienting.
Today is one of those special Fridays, the eagle flies today.

Hello everyone. I have mostly checked out of the 24 hour news cycle. That includes expending too much energy slogging through the Internet.
The television side of the business is lacking substance.
Our great vacation at the end of 1958 took us to Miami. It was my first airplane flight! We left New York in the cold of winter and landed in some kind of sunny paradise...which lasted for about a day. We had a beautiful day in Miami and 6 days and nights of rain.
Here's where we stayed. It's no longer in existence but man, it was cool!

The world, which began in 1950, was a nice enough place, consisting of rugs, drapes and the undersides of chairs. Shortly after that windows were invented along with ways to get up high enough to look out of them.
