The Great Handshake Freeze-Out of January 14 was the glacé cherry on a shit sundae of malicious, precisely calculated smears on Bernie Sanders. I initially thought that Elizabeth Warren brought some poltergeists from the Omnishambles Clinton campaign into the fold to advise her on gaining some momentum. I no longer believe that Warren was trying to only boost her polling numbers.
Everyone is talking about Elizabeth Warren and when/if she will pass Joe Biden.
Bernie Sanders has been almost forgotten.
Every so often, I get the urge to stop cruisin' the swamp, for which I shall always bear great affection. The lure of bigger and perhaps tastier things to periodically* stop and concentrate on some real good stuff.
Speaking as a Bernie fan, this is good news.
Liz Warren has not been battle tested yet. Not by the media, not by other candidates.
I'm not convinced that she's a good debater yet.
Joe Biden is the front-runner. So, as Biden's wife suggested, we should all "swallow a bit" and support him.
There's nothing more to say then, right?

Black people love Joe Biden, but don't trust Bernie Sanders because he is in some vague, undefined way, a racist.
That's what the media tells us. That's what black political leaders tell us.
And that's why I don't trust the media or these current black political leaders or anytime modern Identity Politics is used.
Joe Biden is the overwhelming favorite of people who formerly supported Hillary Clinton's disastrous 2016 campaign.
It appears those voters look back at that epic failure and think, "Gimme some more of that!"
According to one poll, Joe Biden has an almost insurmountable lead over every other Democratic challenger, of 14 points over second-place Bernie. Another poll gives him a 24 point lead.
It's possible that these polls are accurate. It's also possible that they are predictive.
