Hillary Clinton

Ok. I am so upset about Puerta Rico I can't sleep.

The Democrats are now run by sociopaths. They don't believe in fair elections or the right to vote, and neither does Hillary. Hillary is a poisonous, power hungry ogre. I won't vote for her ever, ever ever. I won't vote for anyone that supports her. She is violating the civil right of thousands of Americans. As usual they are smearing Sanders accusing him of their crimes.

Campaigning Like It's 1999

According to The Hill, "Clinton allies" are blaming Bernie Sanders for Hillary Clinton's poor performance in recent opinion polls. They complain that Sanders' continued attacks on Clinton and his failure "to begin bringing everyone together” hurts Hillary Clinton because it "... holds her back from controlling the narrative.” What I see are changes in the U.S.

Sander's Pivot on Clinton Support?

Could Bernie Sanders be signaling a pivot in his full-throated support for Hillary if she's the nominee? For months he's been saying that if he doesn't prevail in the primaries, he will support Clinton against Trump and URGE HIS SUPPORTERS to as well. That's caused a lot of angst here and been the source for many well-thought out diaries. It has spawned the Bernie or Bust movement and been the subject (and scorn) of many establishment pundits, and used as attack fodder among Clintonistas.

Waking up from the long sleep?

Gopal Balakrishnan:

On numerous occasions since the 90s the left has rallied to a center-right candidate to ward off the far-right and the results have been disastrous. Not only is the far right strengthened by bolstering its credentials as the only real opposition force to the establishment, the left is drastically weakened at the expense of the center-right.

The Federal Records Act, FOIA, and those pesky Email "Records"

Perhaps one of the harshest critiques hurled at presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, by the current State Dept Inspector General, was this:

"At a minimum, Secretary Clinton should have surrendered all emails dealing with Department business before leaving government service and, because she did not do so, she did not comply with the Department's policies that were implemented in accordance with the Federal Records Act."

Any Government Employee knows (should know) that everything you do as a Government Employee IS, and one day will (presumptive) become 'a permanent' Public Record. That is what the National Archives is all about. This is because you are working on the public's dime, so the public "has a right to know" what you are actually doing. In theory anyways ... that is what the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) is supposed to be all about -- the public's "right to know" ... holding our Government "accountable", ... Sunshine is the best disinfectant, etc. etc.
