Democratic Party

A letter to Bernie...should you write your own?

The proposed endorsement led me to write Senator Sanders. I know I can no longer support the Democratic Party, and I don't understand how a person with Bernie's values can. I wrote him the note below, and I encourage you to do the same. I used his senate contact form - http://www.sanders.senate.gov/contact or this address help@berniesanders.com

Prelude. Short Video, the Revolution in Bolivia 2003.

This is what a Non-Violent Revolution Looks Like. Non-Violent on our part anyway, not the neoliberal state's. I would like everyone to note the bravery of Bolivianos in the face of fire and what can be accomplished through unity of the pueblo (the people).

Solid Majority of Dems want Bernie to have a "Major Role"

Far from being a Pariah of the Party, the Skunk at the Picnic, an overwhelming 75% of Democrats want Bernie Sanders to have a "major role" in shaping the party's positions. Bernie must be saying the right stuff, even for those weighed down by their "pragmatism".

And this is a shocker, 2 out of 3 Dems think Sanders should be the V.P.

We need an 1856 moment

Everyone,

If Senator Sanders decides to run as an independent (an unlikely but still possible thing), you will hear, from all quarters, the same old litany of arguments about how third parties never win in America. So I guess you might as well concede the argument and tell them that, yes, you're going to vote Democrat, because God forbid the Whigs should win the election.

The Whigs?

It wasn’t a political night. I was watching hockey. My beloved Pittsburgh Penguins were ahead 2-0 and on their way to taking a 3-1 lead in the Stanley Cup Finals. And then, during a major sporting event, I heard a beep and saw a scroll at the bottom of the screen for BREAKING NEWS!
