In times of stress we often look to comfort food to help us get through. Comfort food is food that soothes the psyche as it provides nourishment. It often is a food that we remember from our childhood. It can be a favorite dish that was made by Mom or Grandmother. It is rarely a gourmet dish. It is just plain solid home cooking.

Having been an artist all my life I really enjoying putting together decorations. Living in an apartment can be challenging because of limited space so I decided the perfect things to decorate were my kitchen table and my plant.

My Take on the Recurring Incredibly Annoying Argument That Absorbs About Half the Site's Energy Every Time It Comes Up and Makes Allies Treat Each Other Like Adversaries, Which I Really Wish Would Stop So We Could Get Back To Fighting the Oligarchy

My biases, stated up front:

  1. I want this site to survive
  2. I want this site to be a place to organize against the corruption that's killing us
  3. I want the people of this planet to rise against the corruption that's killing us before we die.

As part Cherokee I am proud that my people are there with our brothers and sisters trying to stop the desecration of our lands.

Neo-liberalism and the Elimination of the Concept of Public Good or Community

It has been over two weeks since I last posted an essay in this series on neo-liberalism. I was both hosting out of town company and traveling during that time. Recently I have experienced a number of technical problems on my end too. I hope to avoid any future time gaps of this length between essays.
