If we go down this road, saying "I wouldn't touch that with a ten foot pole." is going to be construed as anti-Polish. The metaphor of the boiling frog will be taken as an insult to French mentality.
The obvious (to me) response to the fabricated and orchestrated outrage about Representative Ilhan Omar's remark is to send her a $100 bill. If she is going to be crucified on a cross of Benjamins, she might as well have some of them.

We are having national conversations about many important issues: race and discrimination, police violence and militarized policing, LGBTQ rights, health care for all, free education, wealth and income inequality, dysfunctional government, human rights, immigration, socialism vs.
PayScale surveyed 7,000 companies and found two-thirds of them are concerned about losing their workforce. However, they aren't so concerned about it as to actually pay their workers what they are worth.
The Facebook group "Action Items for the Political Revolution" reposted this set of misunderstandings, published online by Business Insider, under the illusion that it was hip to do so. It wasn't.
