The dense fog of war generated by TPTB is unprecedented; earlier attempts at understanding the players and dynamics had me signing off in frustration. Generally, it's good to do strategic thinking in politics. If you have a political goal, you need a means of achieving it, and not just an idea. Of course, recognizing the need for strategic thinking does not mean that ideas are of no importance -- both good ideas and strategic thinking are necessary.

When we earn enough we pay taxes, we pay towards the health care of all and we pay towards our retirement.

The idea of taxes is to pay for everyone to have at least the minimum chance to compete in life on an equal basis.

Two school districts in Texas

Marilyn Morrison started the school year at Cannon Elementary School in Grapevine, TX as a girl for the first time. The third-grader will apparently not be finishing the school year there.

The constant bullying has become just too much.

It makes me feel like I'm my old self when I was a boy.

I just can't take it. It's too much for a kid like me.
