The debate over identity politics continues to rage over the interwebs, but I've noticed one important question about the issue is rarely asked:
Is it winning? Is racism and sexism, as defined by pro-identity politics groups, being defeated?
The answer is unquestionably: No!
Five weeks ago Jean-Luc Mélenchon was in fifth place and polling at 12%.
Today's he's what The Economist calls "The nightmare option".
The video is entitled Worlds Apart. Heineken's experiment is an attempt to bring those worlds together.
I haven't been in a public demonstration for a while. I suspect most plan to be in Lincoln, NE as Kearney is a rather sleepy little town. We shall see.
