Well known partisan an hate "noise" sites reporting with "outrage" against their pet hate; take everything written or said with a truck load of salt. At the moment we have Russians! Muslims! Mexicans! White folks! Black Folks! etc etc, easy to spot and usually full of excessive quantities of panic, drool and drivel.
So the U.S. government is officially accusing Russia, and President Putin, of interfering in the U.S. presidential election.

Mesha Caldwell was 41, a hair and makeup artist and a transgender woman. Two days ago her body was found along a road in Canton, Mississippi (Madison County). Coroner Alex Breeland did not deny that she had been shot to death. The incident has been ruled a homicide.
One week ago the Washington Post breathlessly ran a story with the headline “Russian hackers penetrated U.S. electricity grid through a utility in Vermont, U.S. officials say." But that was not the truth.

I've been noticing an increase in the number of fake accounts posting on various websites and Twitter, and I've noticed what seems to be a coordinated media effort, especially among local outlets in ND (print and broadcast), to disparage and undercut the water protectors and stir up resentment and racism toward them. It's been happening all along, but it seems to be getting worse.
