Health Care Reform, Think Tank Style

Don't underestimate the power of the think tanks, institutions and lobbies in Washington to influence government policies and programs. Remember that Obamacare was partly a takeoff from a right wing Heritage Foundation plan.

The American Enterprise Institute (AEI) is a conservative, right wing think tank established in Washington in 1938 located on Think Tank Row. This is a scumbag organization made up of greedy, power hungry bastards.

Turns out Hillary's Campaign was pushing the DNC (and it seems, in coordination with them, Media) to get the Republican Party to select the most extreme candidate possible.

Yes, they wished to see a right-wing extremist as the other choice for President of the United States. Presumably, because that would scare the electorate into running to Clinton. She called it the "Pied Piper Strategy."

The Republicans now get their golden opportunity to institute their austerity programs (read “breaking the backs of the middle class to pay for more tax cuts for the wealthy under the guise of fiscal responsibility”).

I don't do this for just anyone, but Shana East is one person I am more than willing to ask for your help. She devoted the last two years of her life to political activism on behalf of progressive causes, including working for Bernie Sanders in Chicago, and as the co-founder of The People's Revolution.
