When does a war become an occupation?
Before Occupy Wall Street, this was the plan to try to bring an end to the utter abomination that is the United States Empire war in and occupation of Afghanistan.
Well, I was certainly not expecting real history. I watched to see the pictures.
Real history? In the first episode, they interview Donald Gregg, whom they caption only as "CIA". (factoid: Gregg joined the Central Intelligence Agency in 1951. He served in Japan from 1964 to 1973.) He voices the opinion that Viet Nam was a mistake.

Admiral Michael Mullen (retired) served as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from 2007 to 2011. That means he served under both W and Barack Obama and also oversaw the end of Don't Ask, Don't Tell.
Years ago I wrote an essay titled, "I just wrote a check for U.S. Imperialism and War". It was around April 15th of a year during the Neverending War Period, of which we currently reside, when I had to write a check to cover the federal taxes owed the previous year.
