Standing Rock: Water Protectors Continue to Stand Firm

Until the Dakota Access Pipeline is stopped, there are close to a thousand water protectors who have committed to remain at the camps at Standing Rock. And if you're able-bodied, self-sufficient, and unafraid, you are invited to join them now.

Sacred Stone [camp] is not closing. We will be standing, and we ask you to continue to stand with us. All of you are welcome to my home and my land.

You are welcome to come back to stand with us.

Blind hatred and Hillary's "resistance" movement

We know that one of the reasons Hillary lost was that she had no positive positions - she was not "for" anything. Just "Trump, Trump, Trump, Russia, Russia, Russia!" Are we for anything? Russia proposes draft Syria constitution recognizing autonomy for Kurds

I have confirmed the news from Russian, Arabic, and Kurdish sources. This is epic! The Rojava revolution in northern Syria practically no one heard of has, apparently, won.

Standing Rock: The Fight Was Never Over

The Indigenous Environmental Network responds to Trump’s support for the KXCL pipeline and DAPL (my bold):

These actions by President Trump are insane and extreme, and nothing short of attacks on our ancestral homelands as Indigenous peoples. The executive orders demonstrate that this administration is more than willing to violate federal law that is meant to protect Indigenous rights, human rights, the environment, and the overall safety of communities for the benefit of the fossil fuel industry. These attacks will not be ignored, our resistance is stronger than ever before and we are prepared to push back at any reckless decision made by this administration. #NoDAPL
