An Update on My Cat

A little while ago I wrote about the tough decision to re-home my cat, Mr. Mittens. After spending a few days on my partner's grandmother's porch and being told he's too old to adopt (He will be 10 in March), my mother in law decided to take him (it was her partner's idea) and it seems to be going pretty well considering he's now living with another cat and a small dog, a Chorkie, they call them. He's been wearing a Feliway collar while acclimating.

Vandalism at LGBT Centers

When employees and volunteers at the Los Angeles LGBT Center arrived at work Friday, they discovered that one wall of a Center facility at Ed Gould Plaza (near Santa Monica Blvd. and Highland) had been defaced. Between 9 and 10 pm on Thursday night someone had spray painted an outer wall with graffiti: Fuck Trannies...Fuck all y'all.

Some Albums really stood out for one reason or another, but never seemed to get the recognition they deserved. There are others that I just like to play every once in a while. Back before they got sucked into the talent and soul destroying morass that was disco, the Bee Gees cut just such an album.

well, it's hard for you to follow that and I myself beaome aware about our Bundestag President Norbert Lammert only now. He spoke a couple of minutes ago to the German 'Bundesversammlung'. I hope to find English translations of his speech. The speech was at least for me thought provoking and fun to listen to, especially for its fine and subtle sarcasm at times. I think the speech and other politician's interview represent a wide range of our current position of Germany's political szene.
