On a personal note,
Doug's Fish Fry had a food truck in my local parking lot mecca. I had to stop. Drove by the place in Cortland every week for years, fish scent wafting over Route 13. Saw the idle food trucks behind the store a month ago when I went on a date to a Chinese buffet behind. My date had no driver's license and no lower teeth. Nice. @some point soon must do a duty trip up I81 to Wolfe Island where I dumped about $100K into a hole with River frontage. I would like to try for a meetup one way or the other. Too many virtual friends with no faces.

Find it amazing how little DWS/DNC/DLC.Third Way/Clintons understand the difference between 2008 and 2016. All the Clintons can see is getting back to the White House.
Remember when Barbara Bush said she didn't want Jeb! to run, no more dynasties. That the USA must have more than 2 families dominating POTUS. She changed her mind, of course, when Jeb! decided to run, but the Republicans learned this is NOT a business as usual election. Jeb! spent more than $100 million, and got zap! Now the Hillary folks want Bernie to get out, and keep giving the same reasons why he should that worked in other campaigns. But this year those reasons aren't working. Hey, folks! Face it! You've got a really lousy candidate. If she was all you say she is, she would have dispensed with Bernie months ago. But, noooooo! While Bernie was at rallies with thousands of potential voters, Hillary was at Chipotle's with 5 or 6 potential voters. Yeah! That's how ya win elections. Keep it a private affair. Now she's trying to win KY after she's already pivoted to the GE. What a lousy candidate/campaign. And those fools at TOP keep repeating the same stupid stuff that continues to alienate those who make up the future of the Dem Party.

Done! Kentucky wasn't that exciting. I think the outcome will
be good, but there were no special procedures. Which is for the best, actually. Same polling place as always, same procedure with electronic voting as always, people filed in and out as always. No confusion. I did note there were a lot of people relative to even the usual general election turnout. But not enough for a real line. I just had to wait a minute. Then I voted for Bernie, Sellus Wilder for Senator, and Nancy Jo Kemper for 6th district House rep.

Why would Kos get so crazy? Could it be that the best laid plans of Hillary et al are not panning out? The ham-handed way they did the NV deal tells me that the gloves are off and that Hillary and friends are desperate for a win - i.e. Kentucky - any win. She has to present herself once again as a winner. She is looking into the abyss of up coming primaries where Bernie would seem to have the upper hand.
I don't care what the polls say, Bernie has the momentum and if he is winning 70-80% of the vote, even the HIllary can't suppress that. He is drawing huge crowds, she can't get a small room full - they pretend that she likes the intimate atmosphere - BS. It is becoming way too obvious. We are already aware of all the tampering in earlier primaries, Bernie is not above filing suit on these deals.
I sent back a DNC "survey" reading we don't really give a sh*t what you think, just send money. I told them to take me off their mailing lists and that I would vote for Trump before I would vote for Hillary. It's postage paid, so they have to pay to read my message!

But kos' latest FP stories have really tickled me pink. One day, he thinks that Hillary has lost way too many potential supporters so he endorses Elizabeth Warren as VP. The next day, kos decides that he doesn't give a fuck about party unity so he tells Bernie supporters to suck it. The whiplash hurts my neck and head.

I was on that site from the very beginning (ed.). He made his bones arguing with the DLC and Third-way - the philosophy that led the Democrats to support Dubya's disastrous decisions. I got there in October 2006.
I never saw him as very left or interesting, but the blog was, especially the back pages.
Of course, Dean was antiwar and a fighter, but not very left.
In 2008, he opposed the more left candidates and positions. Now he supports Hillary, not on the merits necessarily, but because the of the Party.
He thought he could swoop in and direct Bernie's people into more and better (contributions for down ballot races with a portion to dkos), but that blew up on him. I told him he had no credibility with Bernie folks. Not being mean, just honest. He does not.

Thanks! I was an early member here, but it took me awhile
to give up all hope that TOP could yet be redeemed. I went cold turkey there three months ago as far as active participation goes; I swear leaving TOP and embracing C99 has restored a bounce to my step and added years to my life. TOP has become genuinely soul-killing.

These newbies show up with these fantastical stories about their great love for Hillary. And, people who I thought were pretty intelligent, lap it up like it's real. And, if you question its veracity, you become Flag City. I lost a bit of mojo, and signed out so I couldn't be tempted to post anything. Some kind, sweet (anonymous) person purchased a life-time membership for me the last year life-time memberships were available. It might sound silly to y'all, but that has some value to me. So, while I'm waiting for Nov, I didn't want to take a chance of being bojo'd.
I don't care about Kos. I just miss some friends and some good laughs, and even a bit of moral support. Maybe this site will become that for me in the future, but it's not the same yet.

With Hillary's negatives worsening and Bernie's positives climbing, she needs to do something to bring Bernie down to her level. She's tried attacking Bernie directly, but there's very little to attack, so her surrogates resort to attacking his supporters.

He has been posting a lot more lately. Sometimes 3 diaries in one day. Often 2 diaries a day. At least one every day. He may just being trying to help his traffic numbers and site ranking number. His diaries always get a lot of attention. The one mentioned in this essay has more than 900 comments, so he is getting what he wanted.
