I'm Back! Alpha's Primary watchers live blog for W.V. & Nebraska
Hi guys!
Sorry I missed the last one, with family in town I haven't had a second to do anything but clean and entertain, lol!
I sent them all off to Disney Land as present for my wife's graduatio, for a few days of a quite house for me, and of course, to allow me to able to hang with my C99P Peeps for tonight's primary. 
I will update this post with the Guardians links and the TYT live feed once they go up (probably closer to 6:30ish EST).
The first polls to close will be West Virginia at 7:30PM EST followed by Nebraska at 9:00PM EST.
I look forward to seeing you guys! I got a new bottle of 12 year old barrel aged Scotch, a fresh bag and a positive feeling about tonight!
Hopefully we won't have to look at Mini-Hillary tonight much at all.

I think Zoe may be in love with Bernie, whenever I have one of his speeches on TV she comes and sits right in front of it, it's actually kinda odd. (It would be scary if she did it for Clinton, I would have to cut her cookie rations which could lead to trouble. )

Yep! Well, she got pinned as an RN. Still has to take like 3
more classes for her full Bachelors though.
Then we have like a 8 month reprieve and she starts the Masters program.
She's not sure if she wants to go towards education or administration though for the Masters, I am thinking Administration for the Pay but she may enjoy the Teaching side more. (I think she should try teaching first, it's not for everyone but I enjoyed it when I was an instructor for my Dept.)
Congrats to your Daughter! While I admit I may be biased. in my experience it takes a really special kind of person to be a Nurse and we need more of those kind of people in the world.
Virtually 80% of the Nurses and CNA's I know are either Pro-Sanders or at least really, really like him, even the Republican ones. Bernie really could be our best chances to unite the divide that has breached us politically in this country based on the fact that even the Republicans I know that are totally against his policies still like and respect the guy, we NEED this as a nation so badly.

I'm 'berning' the candle at both ends here in CA. So are we all. No money from central coming in for literature or offices yet, except for two -- Oakland and LA somewhere. But we have had a great ground game here and have had since we all rushed to Nevada. Hold on to your socks. We are gonna win this motherfucker.
Having said that, I wonder which counties you-know-whollery is going to try to steal. SF and LA cause they have the most delegates, I'm guessing. I worry. Early voting starts today, I think? I will double check. Vote early, vote often.

you know you have to request a dem ballot
at your voting station if you are not registered dem. If you are vote-by-mail then you have to request in advance a dem ballot. I have to do this myself asap.

Corruption is a good reason to ask for international help with regard to our elections. Maybe the Scandinavian countries or France could give us a hand with this. Looks like we can't hold a clean election on our own.

Until we actually have new rules,
it would seem we're in dire need of nannies from somewhere, in the meantime, to monitor what has clearly and obviously become a farce in the US. Let's have an independent observer or five in the last few rounds of the American primaries, before somebody drops the pretense of "one person, one vote" altogether. Short of mass insurrection, I'm not sure what other choices there are, besides passively accepting this. And that is no longer a tenable option.
Truly, I welcome other short-term ideas, because IMO, it is unacceptable that this government screams bloody murder about "democracy and fair elections" abroad and yet they don't give a shit about the votes of their own citizens.

My guess would be bandwidth. People hitting refresh every 30 secs keeps the server busy. And if the page has lots of embedding videos, and heavy images (500k-1M in size), your browser takes longer to retrieve all the media and build the page.

Bernie won the Nebraska demo caucus on March 5.
By the way, if Bernie wins West Virginia then he will have won all the states that begin with the letter W

We did have a caucus, yes (Bernie by 58%), now we are having a Dem primary. The pres. part of the ticket is officially not binding (as the delegates are already committed) but various downticket races are still to be decided.

I try to toss in the results of the Republican races too when
they are close or at closing, but don't spend much time dwelling on them.
Trump is the only one left in the race at this time right? Did none of the other candidates just "Suspend" their runs in the event he self destructs or did they all officially withdraw? (I haven't looked closely at the republican race since it became apparent that Donald would be their candidate. )

That's the one thing I couldn't put my finger on. Clinton and Trump are in a virtual tie as to who is disliked more. It makes complete sense now.
That's why I get the oogie feeling in the pit of my stomach at the thought of voting Clinton as the "lesser of two evils". It's a knee-jerk reaction. I'm so normalized in thinking that's all I'll ever get to vote for.

I think the media is going solely by exit polls.
Which makes me think the exit polling wasn't even close.
But it does appear Hillary got her usual initial lead from mail in ballots. But she usually garners a bit more than 50%. Wonder what's up with that as well.
I love speculating, but I love facts better. We'll just have to wait and see.

NYT Based covergae has WV at 1% reporting, with Clinton 45.8 to Sanders 45.0% and that is just now reported. My guess is that they might have done the first regions around the Capital, and likely establishment types there.
