I'm Back! Alpha's Primary watchers live blog for W.V. & Nebraska
Hi guys!
Sorry I missed the last one, with family in town I haven't had a second to do anything but clean and entertain, lol!
I sent them all off to Disney Land as present for my wife's graduatio, for a few days of a quite house for me, and of course, to allow me to able to hang with my C99P Peeps for tonight's primary.
I will update this post with the Guardians links and the TYT live feed once they go up (probably closer to 6:30ish EST).
The first polls to close will be West Virginia at 7:30PM EST followed by Nebraska at 9:00PM EST.
I look forward to seeing you guys! I got a new bottle of 12 year old barrel aged Scotch, a fresh bag and a positive feeling about tonight!
Hopefully we won't have to look at Mini-Hillary tonight much at all.
Go Bernie! This shit ain't over till WE say it's over!
Zoe and Loki are sitting here in Alpha's Election Central ready to assist me as usual (If by assist you mean repeatedly pestering me for cookies and scratchies, lol.)
I think Zoe may be in love with Bernie, whenever I have one of his speeches on TV she comes and sits right in front of it, it's actually kinda odd. (It would be scary if she did it for Clinton, I would have to cut her cookie rations which could lead to trouble. )
These should help keep you smiling until the results start trickling in.
I think this last one is obvious pro-spider propaganda. (I make my wife handle them, I would rather deal with a 6 foot snake than a 1/2 inch spider... )
And again I apologize for missing the last one, I hope I didn't let anyone down.
Update:
Ok, apparently the original Live Blog exploded or something and is down so here it goes again.
Here is the TYT Live feed.

With two delegates not going to the outlier
Bernie definitely gets one.
The second delegate is based on the round down amount (like I said in the temporary replacement diary round down is a programmer's nightmare). Currently that has Clinton at .58 and Sanders at .42. So currently Clinton will get the other one. But it's close Bernie is in reach of nabbing that 2nd outlier delegate.
20 delegates is optimistic, but not unreasonable.
The people, united, will never be defeated.
Woops, I went to plug an Essay and did it in the wrong thread.

Forgive me, I have sinned!!!
I just brought up TOP to get their take on Bernie's WV win.
I was actually shocked at what I saw on the front page! Nothing! Absolutely nothing! Unless my browser is broken, there is no live thread of the results, in fact, the results are nowhere to be found on the front page. Talk about living in a bubble??
Suppose there was a Democratic Primary Election and a website who's sole purpose
iswas to elect more and better Dems, didn't bother to even post the results of the election? Unbelievable!!!“Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.”
George W. Bush
I'm shocked,
I tell you! Shocked to hear such a thing!
Life is strong. I'm weak, but Life is strong.
If that shocked you?
Then you haven't been paying attention since March.
Yeah. I know you're not shocked.
Even the comments in diaries by LP, OPOL, igualdad, et. al. have turned into a Reddit scrolling exercises.
I honestly think the DNC is having some political form of "buyers remorse".
The people, united, will never be defeated.
The GOS has moved on.
They already have HRC as the nominee. To report the latest primaries would concede #Bernie still hanging around. So no coverage.

20 points would be nice
but I don't know if it's possible with that other character getting 10+%.
Life is strong. I'm weak, but Life is strong.
It's really unlikely barring huge blowouts in the 5 remaining
counties that are still at 0% reporting.

I'll be happy with 17
Overjoyed with 18. These small wins in these small states with small amounts of delegates to offer forebode incredible wins in states with huge amounts of delegates to offer.
California, Oregon we're up at bat soon. Let's get our 'swing' ready.
The people, united, will never be defeated.
In WV if a candidate gets less than 15% of the vote
the delegates go proportionally to the ones who got more than 15%. As I posted earlier Sanders has one of those two delegates in his pocket the other one is close.
The people, united, will never be defeated.
You can bet the headline tomorrow won't read...
Hillary gets a little more than one third of the vote.
Bernie is breathing down your neck right now. Feel the Bern? Yeah, I thought you did.
The people, united, will never be defeated.

This is nothing short of a blowout, yet it will be downplayed
by the media.
They so piss me off.
They should be scared, I was listening to a podcast earlier and they were talking about how the number of over 40's that have now cut the cord with their cable providers and the trend is rapidly accelerating.
The MSM is dead, it just doesn't know it yet.
"I used to vote Republican & Democrat, I also used to shit my pants. Eventually I got smart enough to stop doing both things." -Me
The Media has crowned their queen...
Or THINK they have...
Reason being is that the Corporate slime that run the MSM are very aware of what the waning of their power would mean for their bottom line. So therefore, they MUST pretend that nothing is wrong.
Baghdad Bob is their Spirit Animal.
I do not pretend I know what I do not know.
She didn't win the state
She didn't win a single county (as of this posting).
She barely got one third of the vote. If Bernie can make this happen in West Virginia, he can make unicorns fly out his butt in the BIG primaries to come. I have never thought anyone could make unicorns fly out their butts but, if anyone can do it I believe Bernie can.
Yes, this is a blowout. Thanks for hosting tonight AlphaLop.
[BTW. Before I was WaveyDavey is was know in SF, CA as Alpha, just a coincidence?]

Thank you, again, Alphalop
for another live blog for the primary. Good show!
I see Bernie is +15 and still counting. I'm going to call it a night.
Thanks for coming, this is always a blast for me.

Back in the 80's I dreamed of going to Koh Samui.
Still haven't made it there but I bet it is probably quite different then when I learned about it.
I really would love to go sometime though.

I was trying to go there 2 years ago...
and then Mrs. R stepped off the boat and severely sprained an ankle and we had to change plans. Had friends that were there last year and they loved it. Crystal clear water, great diving and beautiful beaches. And... full moon parties, half moon parties, quarter moon parties, new moon parties and just plain old moon parties. It's one of the Cancun equivalents for Australian youngsters!

We've been living aboard Reflections...
since 1996. Left California headed south in 99, crossed the Pacific to New Zealand in 2002 then back up to Hawaii. 7 years in Hawaii and then back to French Polynesia, north to the Marshall Islands for cyclone season, south to Vanuatu and the Solomon Islands, on to Papua New Guinea, through the Torres Strait to Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. Just under 44,000 miles travelled so far! Have loved every minute of it!!

can someone explain why Nebraska....
...had a Democratic caucus and a Democratic presidential primary? maybe i misunderstood something they were saying on the television. i was too busy cooking to pay full attention. it was something about Clinton winning the Nebraska primary today but Sanders won the caucus earlier this year. didn't make sense to me.
Good point.
I want to dive deeper into that subject as well.
The people, united, will never be defeated.
Puzzled me too!
They held their official caucus in March. But there was also the republican primary today and in this primary there were elections for state and local offices and other measures. Someone decided, probably the DNC, to include an unofficial "Democratic Primary" election. Bernie won the caucus but Hillary won this fake primary. Some are using to claim that Hillary would have won the state if it was a real primary, but there was zero campaigning by either candidate so these results are meaningless.
“Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.”
George W. Bush
so they had to print the ballots with...
...Sanders and Clinton on them and then not count the vote? good gawd!! asinine!
what pisses me off about the media
Hillary Clinton, who I hear is married to a former President, won the Arizona primary by 17.7%. That primary was called by the networks and wire services as soon as the polls closed because exit polls showed she'd be that far ahead at the end.
Now here Bernie beats her by pretty close to the same amount, yet those same people waited until 31% of the vote had been counted before declaring him the winner.
That only reinforces our feelings of being disrespected, discounted, dissed to the point where the establishment has pushed us away from considering their candidate in November.
(with the understanding that more of these Bernie wins in Oregon and California might still change things)

wow
late in the evening CA time and it appears on the Guardian website that Sanders won every county in West Virginia. he painted the whole state turquoise. holy cow!! there were a few counties painted in for Clinton earlier in the evening. what happened? not that i'm complaining.
Earlier,
counties might be painted in for her because she was winning, but as the votes continued to be counted, Bernie ended up winning and the colors change.
i was assuming...
...that the county didn't get painted until the count was done and had an official winner for that county.
thanks.
he, he NYTimes article title:
Bernie Sanders Wins West Virginia, Prolonging Race With Hillary Clinton
and then goes on about how "distracting" this is from the GE to poor Hillaree.

this morning said he is forcing her to run a costly and long campaign.
The PTB cannot say
that there are a significant (and increasing?) number of primary voters who do not mind her campaign blowing through $$$. Goes against the Plan. GM, OLinda.

what's the point of a primary campaign...
