Album of the Week 3-15-25
Afternoon folks!
Here it comes, there are some blues for you - starting off with albums from harmonica player Little Sonny and Hound Dog Taylor and the HouseRockers. Following that we've got some r&b albums from Curtis Mayfield followed by some serious old-school r&b from Joe Liggins and his Honeydrippers. Then we have a nice acoustic blues album from Jesse Fuller and after that it's off to blues rock with albums from Band member Levon Helm and brit blues band Chicken Shack. Then we move into the diversity department with an album of ska from The Selecter and an album of british folk/rock from the Oyster Band.
Enjoy the tunes and have a great weekend!

His metier is jazz, not blues, but the saxophonist Gilad Atzmon
is also known for his writings critiquing Zionism — now more timely than ever — starting with his own birth in 1963 as a Jewish Israeli.
