The constitutional principles of separation of powers and a co-equal tripartite government are out of balance. The president has become too powerful. Congress has abrogated too much of its power to the executive branch. The president can unilaterally declare war and essentially allocate funding by edict (executive orders). Presidents can now ignore Supreme Court decisions with no consequence. It seems like each subsequent president grabs more power and then flaunts that power in the face of the people along with blatant in-your-face corruption, which now seems the norm.

The last week in politics is a prime example of the overly powerful and corrupt presidency. I'm now firmly set in my belief that we are not governed by representatives of the people, but rather by a syndicate of warring crime families.

The Joe Biden administration was surely, in my mind anyway, one of the most corrupt in American history, if not the most corrupt. Only a true believer would argue that point. We've all seen the reports, we've all witnessed it in real time. I'm not going to go into any detail about that, it would only be redundant anyway, except to lay the premise for what comes next.

The topping on the Biden ice cream cone of unbridled corruption was his flipping off his crooked finger to the American people. The path is now clear, unless addressed by law, for a lawless president to preemptively pardon any or all partners in crime, back to a time of their choosing. What a super power to have, it is good to be the king. I have doubts that the newly crowned king will do anything about it, heck, he may want to exercise that super power for himself along with his friends and family.

For the want of interrupting the flow of corruption, the new president, Donald Trump, has already marked his territory right before taking office. His new crypto currency meme coin, $Trump and his wife's meme coin, $Melania, are, in my opinion, an embarrassment and a new low for the presidency. The tens of billions of dollars siphoned up in just a few days is a testament to what the presidency has devolved into, a platform for personal wealth. At least their meme coins are funded by private individuals, both from this country and around the world. Whereas the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve that Donald Trump is advocating for would be funded by the taxpayer, our hard earned money.

A rug pull by the $Trump and $Melania crypto coins would make the few at the top fabulously wealthy and the vast majority below the top would be up the creek without a paddle. That's the price they would pay for gambling with their money. A rug pull by the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve would leave taxpayers holding the bag. That's the price we would pay for politicians gambling with our money.

Trump's Stargate Project, a $500 billion dollar investment of taxpayer money for artificial intelligence and and data centers will be a massive boon for the tech industry. There's no chance for any corruption there, don't you agree [insert eye roll here]? Where's all the electricity going to come from to power these data centers? How about the massive amount of water it takes to cool them? How much of my personal data will be stored there? We can't let China get ahead of us in technology, don't you know?

What about Doge? Wasn't it supposed to cut back on government waste and cut out unnecessary programs and departments? Here, right out of the box, we add another $500 billion to the deficit, or will Stargate be funded by cutting back on monies allocated for the people of this nation. That's government efficiency for you right there!

The corrupt don't get what they deserve, but We the People get it good and hard.
