Live briefing: Israel-Hezbollah cease-fire appears to hold amid violation accusations

The cease-fire enacted this week between Israel and the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah appeared to hold Friday even as the Israeli military carried out attacks in Lebanon, with various parties alleging violations of the deal.

The Israel Defense Forces said Friday it conducted an airstrike in southern Lebanon after it detected “terrorist activity and movement of a Hezbollah portable rocket launcher.” The strike followed an attack by the Israeli air force on Thursday that the IDF said targeted suspected militants at a site from which projectiles were fired at Israel before the cease-fire.

So the "news" eases off of OH SHIT! mode and falls back to IT IS NOT GOING SO G00D mode. Terrorists evidently wearing Terrorist uniforms, keep moving around where they don't belong.

Meanwhile, last night I saw Hannity on Fox bloviating with a war troll about how Biden has allowed Iran to get "rich" and therefore "terrorism" is spreading. He and the troll are looking forward to Trump cutting the Iranian Terrorist Regine down to size.

Does anybody remember SCTV and Monster Chiller Horror Theater? Hosted by one of the Melonville TV news characters named Floyd Robinson in a vampire costume and widow's peak as "Count Floyd." His signature line was "Oooooh oooh, kids! That was really scary!" The comedy was that the station drone bees were always procuring off beat movies that were not really horror films.

Iran! Terrorism! Ooooooh, oooh, Kids! This is really scary! World War III may be necessary! Maybe Trump can intimidate them out of terrorism.

Peace is never an option because the world is full of bad guys.
