My email to Gov. Inslee, Washington State Superdelegate. FWIW
Governor Inslee,
I am a Democratic PCO in the 11th Legislative District. I was proud to vote for you for the Office of Governor of our state. I am writing to say that at my Democratic
Presidential Caucus in suburban King County the vote was 13 to 3 in favor of Bernie Sanders for President. As you know, Bernie Sanders won 72 percent of the delegates overall, and it wasn't that close. Were it not for the viability and proportionality rules, the landslide for Bernie Sanders among Washington Democrats would have been even more lopsided.
If you fail to vote for Bernie Sanders at the Democratic National Convention then I will find it well nigh impossible to ever vote for you in any future election. That goes for any other Superdelegate from the state of Washington.

Thank you for doing this.
It's important for our voices to be heard. He needs to hear from thousands of you. Perhaps you need to put this letter in your local newspaper, as well. You community needs to read some courage so they can muster their own.

Yes I too love it here at this site
What I used to like about TOP was the intelligence of everyone posting there. I learned so much from that site, then all of a sudden it got hijacked by (whatever you prefer to call them) and the site nosedived for me. I came here and found all the intelligent people HERE after the exodus from TOP.

I also wrote to my Superdelegates
I saw on local news that one of Idaho’s super delegates, Pete Gertonson, had publicly said that after Bernie’s overwhelming victory in Idaho he was pledging his support for Bernie. I thought maybe I should email and thank him. Then thought I should find out who all the Idaho super delegates are and thank or ask for support for Bernie.
After I found and emailed the 4 Idaho super delegates I read that Bernie doesn’t want us to contact them [yet] as he is working on them behind the scenes. Sorry, can’t find the link to that.
But here is what I did:
First I went to wikipedia and found out who my super delegates are.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Democratic_Party_superdelegates,_2016
Then I went to the Idaho Democratic party website and found the four names with email address.
http://idahodems.org/leadership/
Then I sent a short message either asking for their support or thanking them for it.
Maybe I should have waited for Bernie to ask us to do this. But it felt good and I don’t see how a simple request can hurt.
Thanks for doing this and laying out the process!
Also, I am bewildered as to why anyone from the Sanders campaign would discourage Berniecrats from immediately, and if need be, repeatedly contacting Superdelegates and urging them to support Bernie Sanders. Particularly in those states where the reported Superdelegate split does not reflect the proportionality of the expressed will of the people in either the state primary or caucus.
Good one! Here's a superdelegate petition for OR residents
from MoveOn (doesn't even prompt a post-signature fundraising pitch), though petitions are a distant second best to the type of personal letter you wrote:

P.S. The new official Bernie office in our town (which supplements the energetic volunteer office that's been active here for months) just opened on our street. There's been a flurry of activity setting up the empty space as an office. People coming and going point to our Bernie yard sign. They probably haven't noticed the "Bernie/Because fuck this shit" sticker in my car's rear window.

I have yet to email the Washington state SD's
but I'm going to say that in light of Bernie's overwhelming victory in our state, their shifting support to him will go a long way towards these SD's regaining my vote, which they lost when they supported TPP fast track.

Excellent!
Usually Oregon is pretty irrelevant in the primaries, maybe not this year! I'll have to change my party affiliation back to "D" for the occasion!

You have until April--maybe the 26th? (check online)
I just confirmed online that my registration was changed from unaffiliated to D. Also confirmed by phone call that our GE ballot will have a write-in line for prez, in case Sanders is not the nominee.
You probably know that Gov. Kate Brown has endorsed HRC and announced that her SD vote will go to Clinton. I hope she's hearing from a lot of voters about the inappropriateness of that SD commitment before her state's primary has been held.

Yup!
I should be moving today, so I'll be updating all my registration stuff in the next day or 2. I have to say I was a little bummed about Kate Brown's support for HRC. She's done alright as Gov since taking over and I was excited to vote for her in the GE this fall, her behavior in the primary and during the convention will be a good time to gauge whether she's someone I could get behind or not. It's one thing to support HRC, it's a completely different thing to pledge that vote before the state's primary has even taken place. I predict Oregon's primary numbers to be similar to WA.

Yes! Don the D and make your voice heard in a meaningful way!
But never let them take you or any of us for granted again. I am a Berniecrat and I will be damned if I will willingly trade my mantle of liberal independence for an oligarchical serf suit.
My position exactly
Her personal endorsement is hers to give; her SD pledge in advance of our primary is not OK. So I'll wait and watch. Good luck with your move--the logistics and all the updating that goes along with a change of address!

Alright
All settled in at my new place in nw pdx. First thing I did after setting up my wifi was change my party affiliation and address!
