Hillary Clinton is obviously a Russian Asset

Hillary is "sowing divisions" in the Democratic Party, and isn't that all that is required to be "proven" as a Russian Asset?

tulsi0_0.PNG

It appears that Hillary doesn't have people intimidated anymore.
Bernie came to Tulsi's defense.

Notice how may Twitter replies were anti-Tulsi.
Hillary still has an army of trolls.

tulsi1_1.PNG

However, when even Beto of all people doesn't jump on board, then the Hillary train is done.

"Tulsi is not being groomed by anyone. She is her own person," former Texas Rep. Beto O'Rourke said over the weekend.

Speaking to The Hill, O'Rourke added: "Obviously has served this country, continues to serve this country in uniform, in Congress, as a candidate for presidency so I think those facts speak for themselves."
...
Entrepreneur Andrew Yang defended Gabbard, saying she “deserves much more respect and thanks than this.”

“She literally just got back from serving abroad,” Yang tweeted. Gabbard is a Hawaii Army National Guard major who served in Iraq.

Marianne Williamson, the self-help author, told Gabbard to "stay strong" and said she's the victim of attempted "character assassination."

“The Democratic establishment has got to stop smearing women it finds inconvenient!” she tweeted. “The character assassination of women who don’t toe the party line will backfire. Stay strong @TulsiGabbard. You deserve respect and you have mine.”

South Bend, Ind. Mayor Pete Buttigieg, also a veteran, was asked on CNN whether he felt Gabbard was a Russian asset and said: “I don’t know what the basis is for that.”

“I’d prefer to have the conversation be about policy, about what we’re going to do, and about how American lives are going to be different,” Buttigieg said Sunday. “When it comes to any of my Democratic competitors, that’s my focus, making sure that we make very clear the differences—and there are very real differences among us—and making it clear to voters what their choices are. That’s where I’d like the focus to be.”
...
Others, like former Vice President Joe Biden, are distancing themselves from the issue. His campaign declined to comment Monday

Biden not saying anything speaks volumes.
Warren also doesn't have the courage to speak up.

tulsi2_1.PNG

As usual, Matt Taibbi sums it up perfectly.

Hillary Clinton is nuts. She’s also not far from the Democratic Party mainstream, which has been pushing the same line for years.
...
CNN media critic Brian Stelter tried to suggest Hillary only seemed wacko thanks to a trick of the red enemy, saying, “It feels like a disinformation situation where the Russians want this kind of disinformation.”
...
If you’re keeping score, that’s pretty much the whole spectrum of American political thought, excepting MSNBC Democrats. What a coincidence!

Democrats now are assuming the role once played by Republicans of the Tom Delay era, who denounced everyone opposed to the War on Terror as “Saddam-lovers.”

@janis b @janis b

is that, in situations like this one, you could think somebody is a trustworthy person and yet still think that, with the right "leverage," they could be bullied into doing something.

What I'm about to say next doesn't apply to Bernie.

It's also true that people who look trustworthy are sometimes plants. Markos Moulitsas looked eminently trustworthy from 2002-2010. The enemy loves its long cons.

This results in a lot of people keeping one eye even on those that they (mostly) trust. Before Jimmy Dore got fired from The Young Turks and his videos started dropping off YouTube's recommended lists (even for me, and I watch him all the time), I thought he might be a plant. Jake Tapper coming out on the right side of Hillary's attack on Tulsi makes me suspicious that I'm getting played there too.

It's extremely difficult to navigate these waters, to remain as skeptical as the conditions warrant without succumbing to utter paranoia.

If people suspect that a public figure might be acting on behalf of the goons, that is not cause to attack the people who are suspicious, nor to resent them. I can't speak for all of us, but I'm doing the best I can to stay grounded in the truth, and I bet other skeptics are doing the best they can as well. Framing this in terms of personal betrayal or outrageous slander is not appropriate to the situation. I bet that if I could talk to Bernie one-on-one, while he might not like my position, he would not condemn me for it. He knows that lies, betrayals, and manipulation have become the currency of our politics. They ARE our politics now. I don't think he'd condemn me for holding back total trust.

As far as Bernie goes, what I'm seeing is a man whose independence is hampered but not destroyed. In other words, as Podesta said to Robbie Mook, they've got "leverage," but it seems the leverage only goes so far. At least that exchange between Podesta and Mook essentially proves that, in 2016, Bernie was definitely NOT working for the establishment. How much they've dragged him back into line is debatable, but it's likely that Bernie isn't just one more case of controlled opposition.

But there are limits to his independence. I notice he rarely tussles with the MIC.

Tom Watson was one of the founders of Men for Hillary.

Here are a few of his choice takes and retweets on Bernie's defense of Tulsi (I am guessing that Houle had some high level staff and/or consultant position for Hillary 2016 -- I recall some of his articles bashing Bernie from 2016):

But this one is the scariest and most forboding of them all:

If you wonder how a good man could knuckle under to intimidation, perhaps you should check out wendy's latest essay on Assange.

Americans like to pretend that nobody of good character could be broken by threats. Not true.

I'm reassured that Bernie is a free and independent actor enough to speak out against this McCarthyism.

if by "deplorable" you are referencing this exchange that you had with another user then I need to set something straight here. There are no political sacred cows here at c99, none, they are all open to criticism, including Bernie. This site itself does not back any candidates in particular and users here are free to promote whomever they want.

We ask folks to be civil with one another here, that does not extend to politicians and public figures.

@Wally

all right . That was not a joke.

In case anyone is curious, here is the post that got the ball rolling-

Let's not forget

@Cant Stop the Macedonian Signal

that Gabbard quit the DNC to back Bernie at great cost to herself.

She was finished as a mainstream Dem after that.

Could be that HRC hostility to her has root there.

His silence is "deplorable."

imo

I also gave a bit more in response to your objection.

I would hope

@Wally

that my (rather mild) criticism is within bounds.
If that's not so, then JTC might want to let me know.

fwiw,

1. I gave a lot (for me)of money to Bernie in 2016.
2. Bought and wore his t-shirt, made phone calls, and canvassed door-to-door.
3. Went to his first rally in our state.
4. Got "timeouts" on Kos for refusing to shut up about him. That's why I came here.
5. Voted for Bernie in our primary.

Simply put, I was a huge Bernie fan in 2016 and would vote for him in 2020.
But when he falls short, I will speak up. (if permitted)

Don't think it is wrong to point out that TG has been the one to talk about the way the Clinton machine cheated Bernie. Stuck her neck way out for him in 2016 when it counted.

Where I come from, you stick up for your friends. Still hope Bernie will manage a word in her defense. More for his sake than hers at this point- she seems to be doing fine without his help.

thx. no problem here.

If I could do it over I would say I found Bernie's silence "reprehensible", but I thought "deplorable" was cute at the time. Other than that , I stand by what I said. Anyone interested is welcome to read the entire exchange using link JtC gave this thread.

. . . his silence from Friday night to Monday afternoon (where he was very busy with his rally and PR afterwards) was reprehensible but you thought it funnier to suggest it "deplorable."

Seems you left this out above:

Of course the word "deplorable" was used famously by HRC to describe Trump supporters.
I put it in quotes in my original comment- this was meant to inject a bit of humor which seems to have escaped you.

Thank you, however, for your clarification.

I disagree with your opinion, of course.

But I now understand that kind of criticism is considered legit here, even against Bernie and Tulsi.

Not my style of criticizing left candidates, but so it goes.

In any event, maybe you can clue me in to answers to a couple questions I have:

Exactly when does Tulsi think US military force will be justified against jihadists / "Islamic Extremists"?

And in what circumstances does Tulsi believe drone warfare is acceptable?

. . . his silence from Friday night to Monday afternoon (where he was very busy with his rally and PR afterwards) was reprehensible but you thought it funnier to suggest it "deplorable.

But this part is not quite right-

Seems you left this out above:

Thank you, however, for your clarification.

I reproduced my first two posts in their entirety, leaving nothing out. I thought I had covered the use of "deplorable" with this-

If I could do it over I would say I found Bernie's silence "reprehensible", but I thought "deplorable" was cute at the time

I simply thought I had used more than enough space and that anyone interested could follow the original thread. I made that suggestion.

The excerpt you give is from the comment which follows the first two. Here it is-

Of course the word "deplorable"

@Wally

was used famously by HRC to describe Trump supporters.

I put it in quotes in my original comment- this was meant to inject a bit of humor which seems to have escaped you.

As to Bernie's tweet of Monday afternoon- I say "better late than never" and "beats a blank".

Since you went to the trouble of finding JtC quote-

I sincerely hope that Bernie supporters...
here at c99 don't start finger wagging the Tulsi supporters, and vice versa.

It seems to me that he is talking about supporters attacking one another and does not say that it is wrong to criticize a candidate like TG or HRC or even Bernie.

Just my take.
Now let us rock.

Next I try to make clear that I was disappointed with with Bernie's silence over the weekend, but that is not the same thing as saying he is a bad person.

I said that his

@Wally

silence was "deplorable" which is not a personal attack.

fwiw.

Now let us rock.

You think Tulsi's response was too hot? I thought it was spot on because she was absolutely right about Hillary being a warmonger and responsible for the rot in the DP. The Clintons decided to get in bed with the banks and big corporations and the party went downhill from there. Trump is Obama's legacy, but Obama is Bill's. His taking so much money from the banks and then putting them in his cabinet and many of them Clinton retreads that were mainly responsible for the economic crisis. Yeah..the Clintons brought the rot.

@gjohnsit and she does not need anyone to defend her. However those who spoke out in her defense tell us more about them than it does about Tulsi. In my own humble opinion, speaking out is really about caring to stop red baiting and McCarthyism in its tracks.

As for Tulsi's response, I found it perfect and it is possible that she actually baited Hillary into her unhinged accusation. On a recent Tim Black Show, Tim put forth a theory posited by one of his viewers that Tulsi purposely sought to bring Hillary out into the open. In the last debate, Tulsi said something to the effect that when she meets people, she sees Americans, not deplorables. This harkens back to when Hillary called Trump supporters a basket of deplorables in 2016.

Whatever caused Hillary to launch her attack on Tulsi, it gave Tulsi the perfect opening to point out who Hillary really is which is the

queen of warmongers, embodiment of corruption, and personification of the rot that has sickened the Democratic Party...

There is only one politician in the Democratic party who has the courage to say what so many are probably thinking and that politician is Tulsi Gabbard. And it needed to be said. The Democratic party is still under the thumb of the Clintons and will not change until they are finally and totally excommunicated from it.

I honestly do not think it was just about trying to get votes or a bump in the polls for Tulsi. Tulsi is a very strategic thinker and her game is a long game for permanent change. Hillary is the one who overplayed her hand, not Tulsi.

And in an age of near universal literacy and information access in the developed world, stupid is an evil all its own. Perhaps the greatest of all evils. This is now abundantly clear with the poorly disguised attempt to smear a veteran and sitting congresswoman as a traitorous Manchurian candidate and its hilarious response.

Gets better..

As fun as it is to joke about these people being reptillian baby eaters, the truth of the matter is that while indeed the Clintons (just like the Bushes and Trumps) are monstrously corrupt, they are also remarkably stupid. Hillary in particular, who lacks the charisma and trend-reading ability to her husband, is a living embodiment not of evil but of incompetence. The network she can call out to speak on her behalf is more a patronage network of fellow incompetents than it is anything else, though that network surely does exist as we can see clearly this week,

Did Hillary work with Trump on the birtherism? Remember how close they were to him during those years...

-She then ran her first presidential campaign in 2008. Her record specifically on Iraq doomed both her and her Republican analog, John McCain, both of whom lost to a previously unknown upstart senator who ran against that war and the people who made it. During this campaign, Hillary Clinton engaged in endless race-baiting attacks on her opponent implying something nebulously foreign about him in a precursor to Trump’s birtherism and insisting that ‘the real America’ of the midwest and south would never vote for him….for *some* reason. She then refused to concede her clear loss in the primary and hung around for a strangely long period of time. Far longer than, say, Bernie Sanders did against her in 2016. She did this, most likely, as a negotiating tactic to be Obama’s declared successor and Secretary of State.

Damn right her emails!

-Upon becoming Secretary of State she quickly went on to show what a mistake the first of Obama’s corrupt bargains would end up being for any hopes of reversing Bush’s ruinous administration. She was the decisive force for convincing an undecided Obama to intervene in Libya. Now, Libya is a failed state fought over warlords that incubates terrorism, Islamic extremism, and has a burgeoning chattel slavery industry. Despite this enormous failure, Hillary pushed again for greater levels of intervention in Syria, this time on the side of outright and undisguised jihadists. Her very own emails, which her fans often deride as ‘but her emails’ to deflect from their actual contents, show that she was aware of this and still supported ‘Operation Timber Sycamore’ (which you can look up yourself as the documentation is truly enormous) anyway

"Pokemon Go (to the polls".... good lord..

-In the 2016 campaign, Hillary Clinton then went on to run the most well-funded campaign in history into the ground. Everyone save Matt Taibbi preemptively called the election for Clinton. Her staff’s one original idea aside from riding celebrity accolades was to signal boost Trump over his republican challengers using their media contacts in something called ‘The Pied Piper Strategy‘, thinking he would be the easiest candidate to beat. Most likely, Hillary would have beaten nonentities like Rubio and Jeb!, but someone like Trump was always going to be more of a challenge to the ultimate insiders of the Clintons. Then, in the general election, Hillary Clinton ran what could only be described as a Romney-style campaign based on insulting voters who weren’t already in her camp, failing to campaign in the right locations, and generally ignoring the strong ground game. Plus, she had a close run with a previously little known self-described socialist from Vermont. A challenger that, despite all the post-election rhetoric from all sides, went on to deliver a greater percentage of his base to Hillary than Hillary ever did for Obama after losing to him 8 years before. Hillary then went on to promise her priorities after her inevitable coronation as ‘the removal of Assad from power’ (mentioned in literally every 2016 presidential debate in the general) and even more of the same policies of offshoring and deindustrialization that everyone outside of finance hates. Oh but don’t worry, she had some great one-liners.

McCarthyite hysteria...

-In the post-election hellscape of her failure, Hillary Clinton and her fans who treat her like she is their mother, have greatly exaggerated Russian cyber interference in American discourse in order to absolve themselves and their entire overpaid consultant class from the blame they deserve for blowing the most winnable election in history. This has unleashed a McCarthyite hysteria that has hijacked the Democratic Party, public discourse, and the media and created an opposition to Trump that looks like the republican loyalists to Bush from 2001-2008, where accusations of disloyalty and secret sympathies dog the discourse as a cover for avoiding substantive debate. This is a big reason why the Democrats of this decade became like the Republicans of last decade. Reflexively in support of military intervention, in love with intelligence agencies, and using the same model of going all out religious revival in social issues to distract their supporters from the fact that very few policies they support actually help their base in any real material way.

Sticks the landing...

The fact of the matter is, Hillary Clinton is nothing but an attention-seeking and uncharismatic sociopath with no self-reflection or ability to learn. Everything she has ever touched has turned to ashes and manure. Her ability to create spectacular backfires is a welcome addition to the message-driven Gabbard campaign, as few in this country are loathed as much as Hillary Clinton is-especially by independent and anti-establishment voters. By giving her un-endorsement she has already served an unintentionally useful purpose for those who wish to bring about change. By inspiring all her servile op-ed ghouls to come out in her defense she shows who is willing to make the death rattles on behalf of a dying order and who isn’t. She is not showing her power, but her weakness. A head of a cabal she may be, but rather than pulling the levers of power this cabal spends its time sitting and sulking at a world waking up to their many failures and rank incompetence.

I would say ‘Go away Hillary,’ but I know after crawling back into her spider hole of bitter resentment and abject failure that she will only give us a few months more at most before reappearing yet again with more rot and decay than ever before.

IMG_3881.JPG

Every other presidential candidate that lost has faded away into the history books, but not Her. Oh no. We have been subjected to her constant whining and excuses for why she lost the easiest election in history to the worst candidate ever. And now here she is again trying to make herself relevant.

They are cunning and destructive but not stupid.

Methinks Herheionous's remarks about Tulsi were carefully measured and timed to split the left and hurt Bernie and those she considers his accomplices. She realizes that at most Tulsi may pick up a few points in the polls (going from 1 or 2% to maybe 3 or 4% which won't come close to winning the nomination) and a few more votes, but that may be enough to sink Bernie and the left. And by associating Bernie with Tulsi and damning him for it(again look at those comments to his tweet), it will make it more difficult for him to get the centrist vote that still luvs them some Hillary.

Hell, either she thinks she can waltz in on a second ballot to "unite" the party or she's happy to let Warren win the nomination knowing that she has a snowball's chance in hell of beating Trump, thus blaming a faux leftist and ensuring a leftist or anyone trying to approximate one will never be nominated again.

@Wally Hillary has had a hatred for Gabbard after Gabbard resigned from the DNC to support Bernie Sanders. The venom between them is real. The DNC was and still is owned by the Clintons. She may have also chose to lob her grenade at Gabbard as a means to suck all the air out of Bernie's Massive New York rally.

I have long said that I believe that the DNC will parachute Hillary in on the second ballot of the convention using the super delegates to push her past Bernie. I believe that was the plan all along which is why we were seeing so many neoliberal candidates in the race. They are all Hillary proxies aiming at diluting the delegate counts.

Maybe Obama actually has more juice. Tom Perez was/is his guy. But I don't trust him one way or another.

I do think that they (Obama/Biden and Clinton/Trojan Horse of the Month) have all been too smart for their own good coz they've established a means for Bernie to pull off a miracle and win the nomination.

We'll see how it all plays out.

And as much as I don't trust polls, I see a lot to like in that new Emerson poll which indicates a statistical tie between Biden, Bernie, and Warren. Now they have Bernie over Warren whhere it was the opposite last month. Of course, this news will be deep sixed by the MSM.

....because it would take very little time for people to see all the demographic anomalies. And even less time to see how badly the American people have been used without their consent.

Which reminds me of something else I've noticed. When brittle people with low evolutionary potential are cornered by their own arguments that people should not receive benefits from their government, and why Americans should not be given the most basic human rights conferred on people in all developed and emergent nations, for example affordable housing or clean drinking water — they always stand their ground with the same answer. When it is pointed out that these rights were ratified unanimously by all nations in 1948 — and all other affluent and emergent nations immediately conferred these rights irrevocably upon their people, they say:

"It's different in America. Those other nations are not 'melting pots'. You can't just give people 'rights' or material things when you have a 'diversified' population like the US does. Here's why we have the highest infant mortality rate and the highest maternal-death rate among developed nations: We're 'diversified' with types of people who are biologically weak and die easily at childbirth. The US is 'diversified' with culturally inferior people who don't know how to use health care services properly, so that there's enough to go around. We're 'diversified' with types of people who don't care if their children go to bed hungry. If we help them, it will just create a moral hazard that breeds more of them. And, their children will still go to bed hungry. Next, they will start demanding better food. Some act like they are entitled to share our food. It never stops. We're forced to share this continent with people who are essentially sub-human, and they drag our social wellbeing numbers down whenever the US is compared to other, 'more demographically homogenized' nations. You don't see to be able to grasp the reality that surrounds you."

.
The brainwashing program wins again. Diversification is the reason that the American people cannot have nice things. (Or, why only 'some' of them can.)

Bernie should have kept his mouth shut and not defended Tulsi because of a lot of insane reasons. Out of all the candidates that defended Tulsi from Herheinous' horrible accusations it's only Bernie' that should have not come to her defense.

But then I don't have much sympathy for him since he has been peddling the Russian propaganda nonsense crap. Lie down with dawgs Bernie!

Adam Parkhomenko is a Democratic political strategist and organizer who served as National Field Director for the Democratic National Committee in 2016. He was the co-founder and executive director of Ready for Hillary, a super PAC established to persuade Hillary Clinton to run for the presidency of the United States in 2016.

@Wally the anti-Putin/Russia hysteria has taken over the DP, with Hillary merely the most prominent spokesperson for the New McCarthyism.

And it's not just the Clinton wing of the party -- plenty of progressives have bought into the Russia madness, so this cuts across ideological boundaries.

Meanwhile there's barely a quorum among leading Dem voices for pushback against this scary cold war mindset -- Tulsi, probably AOC, a dozen or so prog podcasters and writers, and not nearly enough progressive office holders as I see it. JHC, even Donald spoke out against it, finally getting something right, although likely for a self-serving purpose.

I think it was Max Blumenthal who wisely observed at the outset of R-gate that the hysteria risked infecting the entire DemPty. That has come to pass.

@wokkamile

Here was Bernie buying into the whole Russia kept Killary from winning. Sorry no link for this part.

At the end of the campaign, what they were saying is...what the Russians were saying, playing a really disgusting role because they don’t believe in anything and all they want to do is sow division in this country and bring people against each other so what they were saying is well (in so many words), Bernie Sanders is not going to win, so if you’re a Bernie Sanders supporter, let me tell you, Hillary Clinton is a criminal, a murderer, a terrible ta-da-da-da-da-da, crazy—all of these disgusting things while I was out, by the way, running around the country campaigning for Hillary Clinton.

And it turns out that a guy who was on my staff who I don’t know personally— his name is John Mattes, out in San Diego— turns out that what he was noticing...now we’re into September, late into the campaign...he was noticing that hundreds of folks he had never heard of names were suddenly coming into Bernie Sanders’ Facebook and they were attacking Hillary Clinton on all kinds of ways. He checked it out. And he went to the Clinton campaign and he said, ‘’you know what, I think these guys are Russians.’’

We had known that. And what Mueller reported, he had more specificity than we’ve seen before. Not exactly new, you are right. They are trying to bring Americans against each other.

Now, what is totally weird, totally weird and, I think, almost unprecedented in modern American history: How do you have a situation where the intelligence agencies say Russians got involved in the 2016 campaign, likely to be involved in 2018, members of Trump’s Administration saying that, the Mueller report saying that, and you have a President of the United States who is not saying that? What is going on? And there is speculation: Do the Russians really own him? Or do they have something—

Do have a link for this.

It has been clear to everyone (except Donald Trump) that Russia was deeply involved in the 2016 elections and intends to be involved in the 2018 elections. It is the American people who should be deciding the political future of our country, not Mr. Putin and the Russian oligarchs. It is absolutely imperative that the Mueller investigation be allowed to go forward without obstruction from the Trump administration or Congress.

But then when he was asked if Her won the election fair and square he said YES. Nothing about how she and the DNC rigged it against him or the most important fact that She had bought the DNC and was in total charge of every decision they made. Fair and square my left buttock!

That good old Alligator Ed was being satirical with his comments about HER mental health, but after this latest bit of weirdness I’m starting to come to the same conclusion. It really seems like the DNC paymasters are so desperate that they have been resorting to abusing people with name recognition (Clinton, Biden) but significant mental health issues to use as figureheads. That kind of abuse is both despicable and criminal.

They ARE the DNC paymasters. They are the straw bosses working for the "big house" (Goldman-Sachs and company).

When we look at this quarrel in the USA, we should remember that Mrs. Clinton used to be the Secretary of State. She used to set the foreign policy, or rather tried to... She wanted to become president. But she's behaving like a fishmonger in the way she speaks and everything. She's a hysterical, infantile lady, who is suffering from megalomania on the one hand, and from insecurities, both her own and those contracted from her husband. And she is unloading all of this.

@CB from the Russians. Disagree.

She's a hysterical, infantile lady, who is suffering from megalomania on the one hand, and from insecurities, both her own and those contracted from her husband. And she is unloading all of this.

That is succinct, object truth.
