What is he thinking while she is talking?
Update...here's Biden's response. Umm I don't think he helped himself out here.
"I will never apologize for anything I have said or done." - ByeDone after reversing himself on the Hyde act.
"I worked with a man who worked hard on these issues".
Umm, didn't the Black Lives Matter group start up during that Man's tenure, Joe? Why yes snoop they did.

What was he thinking?
Vacant minds dont think. They defend.
While she is talking? I know she is a liar so there's that.
Regardless of the path in life I chose, I realize it's always forward, never straight.
The look on his face
When she said she was the little girl bused to school every day made it worth watching the video. But I do have a sick sense of humor sometimes.
I've seen that look before
ByeDone indeed. He's effing toast. Obummer won't endorse him--BHO's waiting for Hillary to jump plop into the race. Go HRC--you're the Dems' poison pill. You could ence.nominate dynamic Tim Kaine to be your running mate--your best bet against impeachment, sorta like Pence.
Yeah, Joe--go out and find some more hair to sniff and little kids to fondle--but only with their permission.

Beautiful.
Worse than that, the Lame Brain Media (or,
what was it that Sarah Palin called them?) has now elevated Harris as the new star--or, soon-to-be front runner. Jeeeeeezzzzz! Well, I did say earlier this evening, that I figured Uncle Joe would implode--just didn't know it'd be quite that spectactular!
BTW, heard a pollster on MSBNC say that Biden's support is highest among two groups--50+ percent AA women; 40+ AA men. Bet that drops a lot after this evening. If so, as AE said--"Joe's toast."
Just heard Gillibrand say that there are 9 more of these
fiascosdebates that we'll be subjected to. Yikes! I had no idea there'd be more than 3 of 4 [more]. If I'd known that, probably would have skipped the past two nights. We didn't hear a thing (this evening) that the candidates don't say every day on Cable News programs/interviews. So, it was a total waste for us. Hopefully, these two debates will weed out some of the dead wood.Mollie
Everyone thinks they have the best dog, and none of them are wrong.
Honestly, his statement last week was unbelievably bad
"I was able to work with racists to prevent integration"
Wait a minute ...
I thought Biden was the inevitable frontrunner. Or was it Warren? I'm so confused. I think I might be getting whiplash. All I know is, it's somebody, but not Bernie. Bernie's never the frontrunner. Even if he was the only candidate running, he wouldn't be the frontrunner. That's the immutable First Law of the MSM. Never Bernie.

Yeah I didn’t see that coming
I guess time will tell. Glad to see Biden taken down a peg but I don’t think raising Harris up is a good tradeoff. Perhaps as others are hoping it will all backfire and they end up destroying each other.

She wouldn't do that.
That would totally screw her endorsement from biden and obama.

This is why Gravel didn't make the debates
Watch ByeDone, Obama and Hillary yuck it up..

WaPo debate poll
----
Andrew Yang 31.45%
Kamala Harris 21.83%
Bernie Sanders 19.97%
Pete Buttigieg 13.25%
Joe Biden 6.72%
Marianne Williamson 3.45%
John Hickenlooper 1.32%
Kirsten Gillibrand 0.95%
Michael Bennet 0.68%
Eric Swalwell 0.38%
Yang? Seriously? I didn't watch the debate, but can't believe that Yang outshone Kambama. Or even Bernie. DK has Kambama winning.

It's amazing that anybody would vote for Swalwell
[video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XM8Gz__gCTg]
Don't step in it. Probably this warning is unnecessary. In my uninformed opinion, he is attempting to assume Adam Schiff's rightful place as head House leaker and liar. This is because "Liddle" Adam is going to have a choice: a 5 star accommodation in Kansas or a tropical resort in exotic Cuba.
Swalwell promises to read every word of The Müller Report, holy grail of hoaxology being itself a hoax.. After reading sections 1 and 2 (both of them Swalwell), please inform Jerrold N. that he might do so also.
Swalwell did give Biden a zinger
when he described a 35 year old speech Joe made at Swalwell's school in which he advocated passing the torch to the younger gen.
Swalwell demanded the torch, Joe said he would keep it.
Haha poor old Joe
A three decade old speech comes back to bite him in the ass.

Yang appeals to utopian nerds
They tend to vote in online polls. Sometimes more than once.
Yang held a rally in Gasworks Park here in Seattle a few weeks ago. The area is full of local tech companies like Google, Adobe etc.

I've seen lots of changes. What doesn't change is people. Same old hairless apes.
About running the videos ~
Oh crap, Bernie speaking about guts
I've only seen
about 2/3 of the debate, will watch the rest later. Takeaway notes:
1) Biden looked and sounded old, the sort of old we recognize when a person is now firmly in old age and begins to look and sound like it. A little slower in reply, the occasional hesitation in the voice, that added thickness on the tongue. Bernie still sounds young compared to Joe. I would be worried this guy couldn't make it through his first term.
2) There goes a substantial part of Biden's formerly strong AA support, now going to Harris. And he has so much more to answer for besides race. I'd like to believe this is the beginning of the end for Joe's presidential hopes. It also looks like it could be the beginning of KH's rise towards the top. Harris might also take some support away from Warren, especially among women. She's slightly less progressive, but doesn't have quite the baggage as Warren and her problem of exaggerated ethnicity. And would seem to be the stronger candidate to handle Donald in debate.
3) Kirsten Gillibrand: apparently either a mortician or a guy from the local deli did her makeup, as someone applied a thick white cream cheese paste to her face. Cadaverous. Marianne Williamson, probably 12 years older, looked younger. Her assertive interrupting to involve herself in the debate -- totally understandable -- was squelched after Kamala's well-timed quip about a food fight vs putting food on the table.
4) Sen Someone Bennett (D-CO??): Remarkable that the moderators gave him like 3 questions to answer. This for a 0-1% candidate with no national profile and no charisma. Even 1 question directed at him would have been a surprise.
5) Andrew Yang: One of my 3 favorite picks, an outside-the-mainstream type with bold ideas, he greatly disappointed with one Russia-bashing answer, straight out of the MIC/MSM script. No more dollars for Andrew from me. I still favor his FD proposal however.
6) Marianne Williamson: I've liked her since I saw up close her run for congress a few yrs ago -- smart and well-versed in the issues. But I'm not sure of her raison d'être in this race, and appealing to love won't beat Donald Trump. Someone who can deliver a swift kick to the groin and a karate chop to the back of the neck are what Dems will be looking for.
Edit: Having just seen her response re JFK and going to the Moon, I will give her major credit for an interesting answer. Double points because so many idiot pundits on the center-left enjoy mocking her. That said, I still adhere to my last point above.
Harris!
Let's just do horse race for a moment.
Harris is a centrist candidate. There is little if any way for a centrist to expand her pool of voters in the primaries (and little in the general as well with El Trumpo holding a 90%+ approval rating among Republicans). In order for her numbers to go up she has to take supporters from other centrist candidates, with Biden holding the lion's share.
California has to be the cornerstone of her primary strategy, and it's a Super Tuesday state this time around. She can't wait, she has to push her numbers above 15% before the voting starts.
Is she going to beat Biden in the "get off my lawn" old peoples' vote? Not really. It shouldn't be a hard sell to convince AA voters that she is a better choice for them than "Pals around with segregationists" Joe.
This was a masterful first strike in that fight.
"My time is up." Yes, Joe, it really is.

Kamala Harris shined too brightly
It’s as if Donna Brazile gifted her with the debate questions this time around.
"Please clap." -- Jeb Bush
I think you mean
And Joe Biden apparently wasn't aware this gifting had happened as he offered only a very weak response to an attack he and his team should have easily anticipated and been prepared for.
Bernie is relentless
in his message. Perhaps he is using the same Republican strategy of;
If you say it over and over, eventually it becomes true.
Only his message is not false.
