The Democrats Heist Movie
Democrats are greedy bastards.
To be frankly honest, they couldn't give a shit about the poor, minorities, or anything else, it's all about the MONEY that those groups can give. As those groups have gotten poorer and poorer, the amount of money that they can squeeze out of their traditional groups has gotten smaller and smaller.
As a result, they've hit on an old movie criminal plan. This is a plan that quite frankly works extremely well, provided you have no morals and your allies do. It's game theory, taken to its logical conclusion, and if you can make it LEGAL (Which they have, I point out) there's no repercussions for your actions.
In the criminal version, the plan goes like this. You plan a crime, and get as many people that you can to buy in and spread the costs around. Then, you don't inform the members that there's a high likelihood they'll DIE on the job. Then, you ensure that as many members die during the job as possible, using them to cover your own success.
Net Result: Successful heist, and Ideally, ONE share at the end with minimal cost.
The Democrats have been raising More and more money... as they lose elections. Yes, the Net result is down, but the individual take is far greater. Wait, what's that? Individual Democrats aren't making enough money? You have to help them and volunteer because they're outspent by corporate Republicans?
Well, see here's the thing. The corporations are catching on, and just cutting out the middle man. All their donations go to the ringleaders. Then of course the ringleaders claim there's just no money... that they're flat broke... that they can't possibly help the little guys who are up against the enemy... you get the idea.
If it was a heist movie, honestly, I'd be screaming that people should see the fucking twists coming after the 9th Sequel. Perhaps it's just my ridiculous anti-conspiracy theory.

Yeppers, it's a zero sum game
The Democrats used to get most of their donations from the working class and the poor.
As they get poorer and poorer, the Dems get less money from them, and more money from rich donors.
Which makes the working class and poor, well poorer.
Eventually, all their money will come from the only people who have any, the rich.

Had a rant to my kids about this last night. My daughter is a teen, and a popular game is the old "Would You Rather?" where the choice is between two equally unpleasant choices, and you must choose one and explain way. Supposedly it's a fun party game.
So she asked me a ridiculous one. And I explained at length about the trap of binary thinking.

Yah, remember Clooney's defense of his big money fund raising for Hillary. Hillary needed big money to fight big money. And that money was going to fund down ballot candidates.
Well, the big money part was right, but it was exposed that all the money not directly going to Hillary was going to state parties, which were funneled back to the DNC which then went to Hillary.
End result: My George Clooney First Rule of Democrat Party Fund Raising: You need big money to fight big money, while personally making big money.

They somehow think that their drops in the bucket will make a HUGE difference if everybody does what they do. Never minding the fact that their lifestyle requires so many subsidies that it would make the average accountant's Head swim. My mentally challenged grandson can’t
get the Clinton org to quit taking money out of his checking account. He was a Hillary fan because Sanders endorsed her. He’s 23, bi-polar, autistic, and suffers from schizophrenia. He’s a freaking hand full. 6’11” tall, 250+ pounds. He’s also gay, which doesn’t make his life any easier.
I told him “now you know, don’t ya?” I told him not to do it. Now he’s being dinged every month. We can’t help because he’s an adult.
I wonder how many other people are having this problem and what can be done.
