Jimmy Dore is so hot right now!!

This guy is spitting truth and putting together reports, congressional hearing details and what's going on in the ME and how it relates to CIA policy dating back to WWII. I'm really just not seeing this on any other outlet, aside from essays here and over at TOP written by those more informed than me.

Hmm, he's saying it's
"all about a pipeline".
That's not exactly true. People said the same thing about Iraq. There are various reasons why the U.S. instigated a proxy war with Syria, a pipeline and oil being one of them. But as Clinton's own emails stated, the real reason is Israel. She said the best way she could help Israel is to get rid of the Assad regime. The Syria war is also a means to draw Russia into a conflict, help drain its resources and spread the proxy war into Russia. There are multiple other reasons but the big one is that Syria is a key for U.S. global hegemony, part of that being the pipeline issues, and Zionist Israel's "Greater Israel" quest.
The problem with the TV people that make money off what they do is they don't want to go all the way, and that ends up being detrimental to people really understanding what it's all about and possible provide cover for more treacherous agendas.
It's the pipeline.
It gets cold in Europe in the winter, they need gas. Whose gas will they buy ? Will they buy their gas from Russia or Qatar ? Who will control the supply and the revenue stream, who will profit ? If Assad goes, the Qataris win the prize. Former Secretary Clinton says, "Assad must go." What to make of this ?

I'm just saying oil and pipelines, like with Yemen and the oil chokepoints, are weapons in the bigger war for global supremacy along with the agenda of Israel.
There's no warrior like an old Cold Warrior
So fixated on the past that he can't see what's happening right under his nose. (Even then the once-mighty "Soviet Union" was crumbling into various disassociating components.)
Less than a year later, there was no Soviet Union, and the world had a brief chance for peace - which the unreconstructed US Cold Warriors scuppered and have continued to sabotage in every way possible.
There is no justice. There can be no peace.
Definitely an agenda
It has long been the policy of the US in the region (since end of WWII) to undermine strong nationalist governments, especially when they are secular and in any way "leftist" (i.e. won't bend over and accept terms dictated by Global Capital). Robert Dreyfuss described this well in his history of US involvement in the region, Devil's Game. No one should make any claim to knowing anything about the US in the ME if they have not read this book - or an equivalent history of the US in the region.
Doug Henwood did an interview today of Gareth Porter in Behind the News (at KPFA in SF). Porter explains the historical stages of the Syrian conflict in a useful and enlightening way - though in less detail than I would have liked. I assume he has something coming out about this in (long) article or series form, but I haven't looked for it yet. It appears from his narrative that the US was drug into this conflict because of the opportunistic intervention of Saudi, Qatar, and Turkey in the wake of the Arab Spring uprisings (brutally crushed by Assad, in spite of his liberalizing tendencies). Of course, the Saudis, Qatar, and Turkey funneled support directly to the radical Islamists (mainly al Qaeda), with the result that the Assad government found itself in really deep shite. This in turn caused Iran to appeal to Russia for help, and Russia obliged. The US was forced to enter, unwillingly, Porter argues, to maintain strong ties to the aforementioned Trio - all of whom play host to American military power in the region.
Well, reading aboutWikiLeaks
Well, reading about
makes me wonder if Hillary's supposed tweeting of 'Happy birthday to me' was actually code for some pay-off to come in... possibly pertaining to her coming even closer to nuclear exchanges with Russia and some of the other threatened and justifiably alert other nuclear-armed countries she feels need a good nuking?
What's what I make of it, anyway.

I do believe Israel is a part of the equation big al
But I see a chicken vs egg scenario: Allies install state of Israel in ME, a state that will be an ally no matter what so that decades after WWII oil can be reliably extracted. Far though we may be from being off the black juice or LNG or whatever the kids are fracking these days, but if we were, would Israel be so important to our foreign policy?
Logical, but it's not quite that simple
US was not a close ally of Israel until after 1967. Our position prior to that was a bit stand-offish. It was the Brits who did the most - besides Israelis themselves - to establish the state of Israel in the region.
Such is the awfulness of this election
a few shots of Jimmy Dore is about all I can take.
The local rag (Minneapolis StarTribune) is desperate to get HRC elected. A massive lambasting of the Russians editorial, but nary a squeak as to what the Wikileaks docs actually reveal.
Odd that.

in a brutally frank and illuminating interview explaining how she's much more of a danger than Trump. Thanks to Azazello for posting this in the EB tonight.
Excellent take on the cabal mentality of Neoliberals and the worldwide ramifications on an HRC presidency.

Yup, (assuming that we aren't all nuked in the very near future, as seems likely,) the Clinton Mafia will be a dictatorship - that of a pair of ruthless and unrestrained CEOs working hard to squeeze those maximized profits out of everyone and everything else for the corporations and billionaires they hope to rival in wealth.
Unfortunately for Her, we'll all run dry rather rapidly and the corporations and billionaires, once they've drained no-longer-useful puppets like Herself, will be cannibalizing each other, each hoping to be the one who dies last and with the most toys.
Pathological greed isn't pretty - and certainly isn't globally survivable once forming a law unto itself.

@azazello: Thanks for posting the videos!
First time I tried to post one and I followed the directions below, but maybe TYT vids don't play nice with everyone... can anyone confirm? If so maybe it's better to find the vid on YouTube and post from there?
Yeah, never any problems with YouTube, so far.
