Ripped from the Headlines:
Hillary Clinton Selects Tim Kaine, a Popular Senator From a Swing State, as Running Mate

Here y'a go.
Ultimately, Mrs. Clinton, who told PBS that she was “afflicted with the responsibility gene,” avoided taking a chance with a less experienced vice-presidential candidate and declined to push the historic nature of her candidacy by adding another woman or a minority to the ticket.
Well on 40+ years of Clinton(s) BS. My God. They're VICTIMS!
Responsibility Gene my ass.

Wow
that is just bizarre on so many levels

Could be the "Responsibility to #1" gene...
It kind of shows in her choice for VP.
Just saying.

Yes, exactly! Don't take any chances that might remotely weaken
her ascension to the throne.
But why would having a female or minority VP dissuade anyone from voting for her? Do I sense a rightward pivot coming?

In other words, she's saying she needs a man to protect her
..., to bail her out if something goes wrong, or she needs someone to blame for her own fuckups.
So much for being an "independent" female who does things for herself, takes credit when something goes well..., but also takes the blame if something goes wrong.
I know someone like that. She's a natural blonde, has gone through life playing damsel in distress (and she's in her fourth marriage and now close to retirement age). If something needs doing, the way she phrases things others jump in and volunteer to do things for her. So, whenever she wants a household project done (for instance), she cons a (usually) man (husband, son, male cousin, anyone else she can manipulate into filling the void of her neediness) into doing the painting or fixing something (or whatever), but when she talks about the accomplishment after the fact, it's always "I did this... I did that..." never "We did this... We did that...," never acknowledging the person(s) who did the actual work while she supervised.
Now, take that microcosm of behavior... extrapolate that out to what needs doing on a national or international level, throw in a strong, rich man who used to be president himself and is now doing money laundering through their foundation so they can become even more fabulously wealthy, someone who can "protect" her and make things happen for her because she's put up with his extramarital affairs for years, she makes him feel guilty..., and in her calculations he owes her for standing by him (and maybe she's using emotional blackmail, threatening to expose him in very personal ways if rumors of her temper tantrums are any hint of what she does in private)..., add a veep who can be his surrogate at times, maybe a cabinet of other dupes just as willing..., and you can see where all this is going..., amiright?
As far as I am concerned, that kind of manipulative *itch must not ever become president.
I believe in an America where the separation of church and state is absolute ..., where no church or church school is granted any public funds or political preference. — President John F. Kennedy, Houston, TX, 12 September 1960

Probably code for "Play it Cautious" and
"Don't Take Chances."
Whereas Bernie took a chance, and look how far he got! Yes, he raised my expectations, by demonstrating that we limit ourselves when we assume we KNOW what is possible and what isn't.

Sorta the same with Hillary:
Sorta the same with Hillary: her corporate/billionaire funding will be limited if she doesn't espouse the notion that democracy isn't possible.
Edit: that raised her constituency's expectations.
Psychopathy is not a political position, whether labeled 'conservatism', 'centrism' or 'left'.
A tin labeled 'coffee' may be a can of worms or pathology identified by a lack of empathy/willingness to harm others to achieve personal desires.
Historic Nature of Her Candidacy
The only history her candidacy will be remembered for is the extent the corruption of our political process made it into the national dialogue around every kitchen table in America.
For that we thank you, Hillary.

Guv of Va for 4 years, US Senator for 4 years. What a wealth
of experience! Well, it beats hers. I wonder if she asked him to be in charge of domestic and foreign policy?
Where was that gene when she set up an inadequately protected email server in her basement?
